Thank Poni...man, I wish you could tell us more about The Wolverine. Is it true theres going to be a post credit scene plus a scene after the credits? :)

Totally agree man! Its been too long since we got as good of a X-Men film like X2. I love X2...and I'll never forget the first time I saw it. Till this day, Jean's death scene still breaks my heart more than ever when I watch it and its the best sacrifice I've seen in a long time.

With DOFP, I'm not sure what the outcome is for bringing back Jean to be honest, and I guess you can say the same about Cyclops but you know, anything can happen. We just won't know until the release date so I'm sure Singer is trying to keep as much as whats gonna happen in DOFP a secret as possible.

Same can be said about The Wolverine...there's still not a lot to go on besides what's gonna happen with Wolvie and with Jean involved...who knows if we see her rise at the end...I doubt it but we'll see.

One of the absolute best moments in the genre to this day. Jackman and Marsden sell the hell out of that moment. And aftermath scenes are just as emotionally devastating.

God, I love X2.

Not sure why Im watching X3...I need to be watching X2 :p

I've soften on X3 over the last few years. It's still not the X3 we deserved, considering how Singer set up things at the end of X2.

But, with the emergence of Marvel Studios' and the assembly line view of filmmaking that they have over there at Disney, I come to admire a tad of the boldness that happens in X3.

It is not a good picture. At all. But, I've mellowed on it. Maybe the Wolverine and Days of Future Past will get me back to my screaming hatred stage that I was back in '06...if they turn out to be excellent.

Im watching X2 right now. I so agree...I hope both films turn out to be excellent.

Vaughn walked out on production a month before the cameras started rolling. He's lucky Fox let him back in the door (then again Singer was the one who put him in the director's chair for FC). There's plenty of blame to go around for TLS. Thankfully it looks like they knew where they screwed up and are making amends.

Also, if you guys see any critics TV spots come out let me know. Once those hit I'll ask Fox about the review embargo again.

You can also blame Rothman for not making deal with Singer to direct third film when warner brothers was ready to offer him Superman..

Undoudtaly Vaughn would have done better than Ratner but due to rothman you still would have had Cyclops and Xavier dying.

The fact Famke Janssen Is taking part In The Wolverine's promation just screams there Is a lot more to her role than they want to reveal. If rumor of her In DOFP and needing stunt double are acuture the wolverine may give us an Idea how that Is possable.

Jean, and post credit scredit scene aregoing to be very Intresting to see.

Since James Mangold has mentioned Shane,The french COnnection,Chinatown, and The Outlaw Josey wales as influences on the WOlverine It's going to make this film very Intresting.

Dat opening nightcrawler scene!!:woot:

X2 is one of the greatest CBMs of all-time. :D

Here's a new low-res TV spot:

Poni_Boy, I saw a TV spot the other day that said "X-Men fans rejoice...this is the Wolverine movie you've been waiting for."

There was a small caption on who wrote it...I just couldn't make it out.

I just saw the ad with the quote during the Yankee game. It was from Scott Mantz at Access Hollywood. It said "X-Men Fans Rejoice/It's The Wolverine Movie You've Been Waiting For".

Then Wolverine threw a guy over a balcony and into a pool.

"How did you know there was a pool down there?"

"I didn't."

:lmao:

That line is ripped off from Diamonds Are Forever.

Just saw another TV spot during the Yankee game, which I'm still watching for some reason.

Yankee fan huh? I did see a Wolvie TV spot during The Cubs/Cardinals games yesterday...which I'm glad I didn't finish. Cardinals always embaress themselves against the Cubs in Chicago on National TV :csad:

"Im afraid you've caught me with more than my hands up"

Ohhh James you smooth devil you

:007
Two other priceless one from the same film. :woot:

James Bond: Weren't you a blonde when I came in?
Tiffany Case: Could be.
James Bond: I tend to notice little things like that - whether a girl is a blonde or a brunette.
Tiffany Case: Which do you prefer?
James Bond: Well, as long as the collar and cuffs match...

Plenty O'Toole: Hi, I'm Plenty.
James Bond: But of course you are.
Plenty O'Toole: Plenty O'Toole.
James Bond: Named after your father perhaps?

Ahh, I've gotten sucked into the regular show marathon on Cartoon Network, no Wolvie spots lol.

Just saw a tv spot that had quotes in it.

Still haven't seen the pool bit myself yet. Though I suppose I'll see it eventually. lol

And you have to put up with Joe Buck and Tim McCarver, usually when the game is on Fox.

Shame on me, I pretty much haven't watched all season. I miss Paulie, Tino, Derek, Tex...

Yeah, it's been pretty rough this season. Considering most of the team is on the DL (Derek was back for one game and got hurt again!), I'm amazed that they're not doing worse.

This came up on the screen during the game, followed by the logo:

And that score got worse from there.
