Agreed. So its better for FOX not to just ignore the bad films. The good films could actually make them look better in the long run.

well, i have read in some reviews that The Wolverine sort of plays out like a Bond movie

Just finished watching X:TLS to prepare for The Wolverine this week! Got to get to XO:W and X:FC next! I don't hate TLS as much as most people but recognize it ain't as great as three of the others. It made some risky moves that rubbed people the wrong way (Cyclops goes out early like a total chump) while giving people a lot less risky things like more Wolverine and particularly Magneto, who is very enjoyable even treading some old territory as the villain again. Grammer as Beast was kind of neat and Page as Kitty Pryde seems to have won some fans.

I might have to get an edit done for TLS that fixes some continuity errors and uses some deleted footage. There's a few things I think can improve the film, and it might be worth doing if the future films are great and reference it heavily.

I liked the scene with Wolverine and Jean on the table. Unfortunately it puts some of the end of ol' Cyclops footage into the segment.

The whole way the Jean/Cyclops part happens and is so abrupt and cut really poorly in the movie is a travesty, and I don't even count myself as much of a Cyclops fans, especially in these first three movies.

The Wolverine has some work to do to connect its beginning to Wolverine's ending in TLS. Oh well, enough X:TLS talk for today!
