Definitely. I still had those M&Ms in my bag, it was halfway through the movie before I remembered they were there and went for them.

We ended up in the last row of the theater. But...I went on stage with Hugh!!!!! :wow:

Haha yes! those M&Ms! I grabbed like 3 bags lol. I actually ate them too!

I ended up near the front, I like to be as comfortably close as possible, like an Imax experience. It was pretty great seats, they were super comfy too.

But yea, in the other room I was front row and got to witness him in all his glory. My girlfriend got a picture with him, and we got 2 signatures, so I'm 1000000% happy with what happened. He thanked us for coming etc. The way he was with the audience was just a pure Class act. Best person in Hollywood period. He was humble and just gracious toward us for showing HIM support! The Nerve! I lost my mind when he low fived me lol. He signed my Japan saga book too, and thankfully i didn't have to rush him, he came to me!

Hugh is the man. plain and simple.

That guy. He floors me. For every 10 minutes of press stuff he'll spend an hour with fans. What a gem

2 guys that danoyse and I were talking to got some cool Hugh moments. 1 got his Wolverine #1 signed and the other got his Wolverine tattoo on his arm signed which he intents to serve as an outline for a tattoo over the picture.

I was sitting about 2 rows from the back and it wasn't bad. All the great seats were reserved for VIPs, and I wanted popcorn but it was all gone by the time I got to theater 6.

Had I known you guys were all so close I would have treated you all to a beer and talked about the movie. Maybe for DOFP then

Is there at LEAST ONE scene or many scenes that Wolverine goes PROPER BERSERKER RAGE in this film like the mansion fight in X2. :)

Literally just finished re-reading the Claremont/Miller story and just wondering if Wolvie dons any sort of costume or attire resembling the comic...

Not a costume, per se, but he does wear traditional Japanese attire in one scene. And it flowed with the story. Didn't feel thrown in

When he's on Broadway, I've heard he knows everyone who works in the theater - from the stagehands, to the ushers, to the box office staff - by their first names. He is a ridiculously nice guy.

Coo, but does that just mean like robes? Or what are we talking here brutha?

does Hugh speak any Japanese in the film?

No, the course of the film literally goes through the first day he's there to day 4. How he interacts and tries to understand the culture however plays into the film.

That's what happens when you are grateful for doing what you love. Tom Cruise is the same way. So is tom Hanks. Those kinds of actors are few and far between

That's so cool!

I got some good pictures on my phone when he was walking towards us to the stage and I was busy trying not to have a heart attack. He was so nice!!

Those two guys were funny. They kept wanting me to ask Hugh if he could win a fight between him and RDJ. My dad told me Hugh signed his tattoo. :funny:

I missed the popcorn too, so thank god for the M&Ms. I was happy that I managed to snag a Coke on the way in.

And we got cool stuff too! We all get t-shirts, foam claw hands, and lanyards.

I had my folks with me, so I had to get them home! This was my mom's first X-Men movie, I'm not sure she had any idea what the hell was going on in that movie. My dad loved it, though. He already wants to see it again.

But definitely for DOFP!

The movie comes out in two days goooo waaaaatch iiiiiit
:whatever:

Haha fair enough, the costume inquiry was just fresh off the dome since I just read it again...but answers can wait. :oldrazz:

Definitely for DoFP! I am so pumped about this movie! We all need to get together and have a live forum afterward!

I work in Fresh Meadows (in NY for those not familiar). Believe it was about a years go or so not exactly sure when. But Hugh was at an Applebee's just a few blocks from where I work. Of course I didn't find out til after the fact, but I heard he was nothing but a gentlemen and wasn't hesitant to chat with fans or take pics. Very open guy and just an all around nice dude.

YOU GUYS! I can't even..!
*breathes*
Your reactions made me so excited, I can barely contain myself. I'm seeing the movie tonight (Netherlands). TWELVE HOURS TO GO! :p

My feet are killing me. I have a feeling Ill sleep well tonight after 15 hours of nonstop lol. What a day, and what a movie.

I brought this up to my girlfriend earlier... could you imagine if we did this for Origins? With this movie we can look back and really be happy with how the movie turned out and be proud and grateful for all of it. Sure, of course It would have been the same great experience, ...but with a really crappy movie lol. With this I legitimately applauded and felt that rush I havn't felt since X2. its pure satisfaction that I wouldn't have felt with a movie of Origins quality. Just amazing and the smile never left my face.

Im so happy Hugh was able to accomplish this and really show his true Wolverine, and Im happy everyone is enjoying it so much! Its the definition of satisfaction for me. Just a good old fashioned victory.

speaking of victory, I might add there are many moments in the film all through out where I wanted to stand and cheer, like just sheer hero/badass [BLACKOUT]comeback[/BLACKOUT] moments for wolverine. I don't know how to describe them without spoilers. So I won't try beyond that.

I did have a tear in my eye at certain parts. Not out of pain or sadness, but out of pure happiness and satisfaction.

Could any of you put the post credits scenes in Spoiler tags?

I am so freaking tired, I have no idea why I'm still up...

Between the movie itself, and that end credits scene, it just feels like this series is back. It's amazing.

Yes! you've summed it up better than I could tiredly blabber on about lol. Its what I meant about feeling that sense of victory. Win after win for me with each passing scene in the movie. It made me rather emotional!

I do feel like its is back on track, and I've loved this series since the beginning so to see this movie and the credits scene is just a real win. I can't even hold my excitement for DOFP. I already know how great that movie will be with Bryan back. The wait will be killer!

Hugh, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Hiddleston are three people who seem to take genuine joy out of playing their characters and interacting with the fans, they're awesome.
