Right now, I'm fine with SS being a robot, as long as there's human inside of the robot controlling it. I think the fight between SS and Wolverine has the potential to be great if done right!

I doubt SS would just be a robot. That would be disappointing, but the nuggets of news and some of the trailer clips point to it being Lee's character inside the electrified suit of armor.

I got the new EW In mail today and very much like what I read.

If you read between the lines you can assume that this will likely be last wolverine solo film but Hugh Jackman Is open to being part of another full team film after DOFP.

SS robot = Sentinel prototype?

I don't think it is.

Could you type here what he said in that magazine :D

They showed X-men Origins: Wolverine on TV last night. Obviously to get people pumped for the next Wolverine movie :whatever:

What strikes me the most about that film is just how incredibly boring and mopey Logan is in it. I honestly don't know if it will improve in The Wolverine, where it looks like Logan is in a full brooding angsty mode again.

.... Mech silver samurai is incredibly stupid on dreadpool proportions imo unfortunately....
I''m going to have to agree. I was really excited for the film until I saw that. It seems completely unnecessary. Also while the new Silver Samurai does have a suit of armor, It isn't an oversized mech like in this film. I'll hold my opinion until I see the film, but I think this was a real blunder on the filmmakers part.

Which channel?

I don't live in America, but a local TV broadcast network here aired Origins and X2 last month.

I live in Australia, I think they screened the movie on Channel 10.

The cover looks good.

I've read the magazine, there's about ten pages of Wolverine. Mostly a long interview with Jackman about his history playing the character. Some background details about the previous films but not much in the way of new details about The Wolverine.

There's little bits about Yukio, Silver Samurai (although he's just referred to as Harada here, no mention of SS), Viper, Shingen (described as "the antagonist of the piece") and Mariko with comments by producer Hugh Parker and a side-bar bit with Mangold talking about his influences (Chinatown, Black Narcissus, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Floating Weeds and Happy Together).

Basically, a nice feature but nothing new for people who've already been following the film.

The cover looks awesome! He's been featured with a sword in promotional material, but I don't think I've seen him with one in the trailer. I know he has claws and may not need a sword, I just like when promotional material features things that will likely be seen in the movie. Like when there were images of Angel and Cyclops in uniform for X-Men TLS, I was disappointed when that wasn't the case when the movie came out.

That cover is awesome! I'd love to see the image without the text.

But... why did they decide to change his claws 5 movies in?

LOVE it!

I Like the detail of having blood where the claws go out.. says something about the movie :)
