Maybe there is two versions of the Silver Samurai, the plain armor version(traditional) then the mech, battle armor one, used only after getting his butt handed to him by the Wolverine??

Maybe.... But uh the first one isn't silver. So there's really only one and that = major sigh..... Imo

I hope we get another domestic trailer and international trailer.

I think he meant the more traditional version (the 1st one that we saw) isn't Silver Samurai. And I think it could be Shingen wearing that traditional samurai armor.

The plain Silver Samurai is fighting Wolverine alongside all the ninjas in the snow, he gets his ass kicked.. it takes all those arrows to stop him. The only way to beat Wolverine is to create a mechanical samurai, which is what we see at the end of the trailer

.... Mech silver samurai is incredibly stupid on dreadpool proportions imo unfortunately....

... Because i think it looks stupid and shoddy. And if your concept is correct i think its even worse

Well at least with Silver Samurai, its physical appearance is similar to the comics.

I finally checked the updated official site. Its alright but its very simple kinda like the official site for First Class. There's still no character bios, wallpapers/avatars, new photos and the navigation is not easy to use.

Sometimes, the comics tend to start reflecting pieces of upcoming movie and post-movie plot lines. Look at The Dark Knight Rises and Batman, Inc., for example. In the upcoming Wolverine comics, they're going to be making him lose his healing factor and think I read something about a different upcoming Wolverine comic where he's fighting the The Hand or something like that.

Just because its now added to the comics (or in the comics at all) does not mean its a good idea

maybe by the time mech silver samurai is introduced, real silver samurai is already out of the picture, and the final battle will be against the true big bad, i just hate that fox can't just follow the story, it is the best in the whole run of wolverine stories.

I just think a mech SS is stupid. Can't we get a human inside silver armor at a normal size.... Make him a great fighter and give him the adamantium cutting marmosa (so misspelled that) blade??

Why do we need robo samurai???

Why do we need robo samurai???

I'm guessing the same reason we are getting a Snake Woman Viper. The studio probably thought the versions from the comics wouldn't be "cool" enough. They did the same **** in Origins with Deadpool in Gambit.

I'm sure Fox has also noticed Robots and mech suits are pretty popular right now and make alot of money.

I would be more confident if they didn't pull the same thing in Origins. Could be cool though, who knows.

When they were originally talking about the whole Wolverine's healing factor not working thing, I thought they were going to go the Muramasa-route, and combine that blade with SS's, simplifying the disparate elements. But no, guess we're getting another vial o' "cure", which is a bummer. But I swear, if this movie means Wolvie loses the healing factor in the comics for good, I'll never watch these movies or read a Marvel comic again
