The stone ship prevented Tony from using said satellites.

Then the Sentry flew through it.

Yes, reading is much more helpful in grasping plot points than just looking at the pictures.

Oh no I got that. However I'm saying that if Tony had the power to depower the Hulk so badly, he should also have had the tech to take down the ship or atleast been able to get thru their jamming signal. One second Tony's trying to take Hulk on head on and his tech is nothing compared to the invaders, the next second he depowers the Hulk badly when the Red King never even attempted anything of the sort back in Planet Hulk.

If Tony had a superhero depowering device, why didn't he use it during Civil War to put an end to the fight rather than just fighting on the streets? Also if he had the power, why wasn't his plan to get around what was jamming the signal rather than trying to fight Hulk head on which was even more reckless?

His new power just contridicts things. It shows he's smart enough to make such a powerful device, but that he's incompetent to use it unless it absolutely needs to be used in some DEM plot turning point. Atleast imo it looked that way.

Yeah... asking questions like that about the logic behind Civil War is rather like masterbating with a cheese grater. ouch.

I agree. My train of thought is that Pak was afraid to give Hulk a loss, and Marvel management in general was afraid to give Sentry a loss so they ended it in a draw inbetween them in their super powered forms to make neither look weak.

However two big problems with this. 1. They spent the entire core series building the Sentry vs. Hulk fight, and then instead of giving a clear resolution, the fight ended in a draw more or less and something else finished the fight. 2. If Stark had this power all along, why didn't he depower Hulk at the very beginning of the fight? That would have been boring for the book of course, but made the most sense as the beam could have depowered the Hulk off the bat and no casualties have happened.

Hell, you have great questions.

Well we got what we got but I am wondering are you satisfied wit hsome of the results from the battles? I am fairly not.

I just read WWH 5 and ghonestly I think anyone arguing that Senttry did not give it his all and still lost is being as fanboyish as saying the Hulk is the most powerful entity which he is clearly not.

However, I must say his whole smashing a ground causing earthqueakes was impressive and in the end he redeemed himself by allowing himself to be taken down.

Hmmmmmmm sensible......maybe just not bat **** crazy?

i like the way you put it better.:woot:

Arkady Rossovich I think you need to be a little more specific. Thanos and Silver Surfer are humanoid in that they are bipedal creatures that resemble humans.
How about Thor is the only marvel hero who could easly pass for human, that can handle the hulk.

I thought the fight was kind of weak.

No, he isn't. I mentioned two individuals that he is not physically stronger than.
I didn't know they invented something stronger than unlimited strength.:whatever:

That has NEVER happened. Each of the 3 fights with Black Bolt has been a clear victory for Black Bolt. He DID just beat a Skrull disguised as Black Bolt... which is exactly the type of detail overlooked by FANBOYS.
Pak said he wrote that for the real BB. And Marvel has said the skrull copies have the same powers and memories. So he beat him.

How was it a draw with the HULK standing and the Sentry out cold? And you guys give me a hard time. :whatever:

Maybe not, but not all those in the MU with unlimited strength like Surfer, Thanos and Apocalypse (or Superman in the DCU) actually need an abstract like anger to increase of decrease their strength.

Actually it was Banner standing over Reynolds, neither of whom are the same as their alternate forms except for in spirit.

They still need cosmic power. Which is feed by things like the sun and so forth. So they actually rely on something OUTSIDE of them to get stronger. The HULK's ability comes only from within himself.
