just because thanos can strike hulk and it do damage doesnt make him anymore influencial as an apponant than ogre.when did the force field thing happen? and keep in mind hulk has done the same thing to a WATCHER.

Yeah, LOL, Sounds like a Stan Lee Hulk there.:woot:

Hulk > Thanos, period.

To clarify, Hulk has yet to punch a Watcher in WWH.

It was Loeb's idea anyways. He wanted to write this WWH like event for Marvel, which they gave to Pak to do. That's why Loeb is writing "Hulk" ongoing.

Stan Lee's Hulk was beaten by Captain America and a snake. Hulk has never punched out the Watcher either, never happened.

You just said it was stated in an interview by an author (or authors)?

Nope. Fail :down

LMAO! Thanos prep time @#$ can't beat Hulk in a STRAIGHT UP NO SCHEMING fight! Thanos will lose.
Next.

It was. I can't remember whether they wanted to have it in there or would like to have it in there.

Still, Hulk has yet to do anything like that on-panel, which is takes precedence.

Yeah, Hulk has KO'd Zom/Strange.:woot:

BTW, Where would Quasar fit on the list? Quasar has pwned a Watcher ON PANEL!!

So:huh: . An interview with Claremont reveals he wanted to kill Wolverine, leave him dead for over a year and return him as an agent of the HAND (Jean would rescue him). Doesn't mean a damn thing if it was never published.

Next.
Thanos pimp slapped him and Drax (who beat Hulk once) without resorting to preptime or scheming. We know him to be well more powerful than Hulk at his 100 ton range....in addition there is some quasi-energy he can absorb to temporarily increase all his powers to undetermined levels at will. He also manipulated matter, can withstand reality altering, project energy, teleport and has telepathy...all of which are powers the Hulk does not possess.

But saying that Thanos can't outwit his opponents as he typically does is like saying Cyclops can't shoot someone with optic blasts, or DareDevil has to negate his super-senses somehow. That's how Thanos fights, and it's proven very effective in the past...why should Hulk receive special treatment?

Yeah, they only talked about the Hulk punching out Uatu in an interview, it never actually ended up getting published.

That's because they haven't writen the story yet. :whatever:

It takes place after WWH.

Actually, no, that's wrong. It was supposed to be the openner to World War Hulk in a story (presumably some mini) called "The Strongest One There Is", it was forgone. They've talked about including it elsewhere, but it has yet to materialize.

Hulk promo art by Ed McGuiness
The first seeds of what was to become “HULK” were sown at the Wizard World Los Angeles convention in 2006, where Ed McGuinness and Jeph Loeb discussed a story tentatively titled, “The Strongest There Is,” which at that time existed solely to facilitate what sounds like a glorious scene in which the Hulk punches out a Watcher.

That story never happened, instead they talked with Pak and Quesada and now they will do the ongoing "Hulk" series instead. I would doubt, since the story doesn't take place in space at all...that the scene will be included. It's not a story, it's just some quirky thing they came up with a Wizard World to give geeks fangasms.

And? Whats that got to do with Thanos beating Hulk in a STRAIGHT UP Battle?

LOL Prep-time shows how weak you are.

LOL Prep-time shows how weak you are.

So I take it Doom's not one of the premiere Marvel villains, but actually weak? You know...there's more to ones ability to fight than physical strength, which Thanos happens to also have in spades. While acting like Thanos has the fighting skills of a newborn kitten you forget that he's owned several ppl in close combat, including Drax who was made to be able to take Thanos and has ripped a star in half. Thanos has fought Odin hand to hand with 0 prep and ended the fight standing with a city near leveled, I'd like to see Hulk last that long against Odin.

None of those are true fights with the Hulk.

Lol I've heard this before. Once again you manage to conjure DAC, if you claim you're not him, then you have an incredible ability to imitate him. What part of those fights don't count? Heck it's more than 2 on 1 vs. Thanos, doesn't get much more stacked in Hulk's favor than that, and he still has to be saved from having his head smashed into Things.

Or do you mean because it's not a ticked off super savage Hulk? Now you sound like Devilhulk if that's the case. Where you only count fights where Hulk's at his strongest vs. his foes even at weak points. Hulk's not always at his strongest, just as Spidey or other characters aren't. When they encounter an opponent they give it their all, but a loss is a loss. If you only count fights where Hulk's super pissed and in mindless or Savage, WWH, or War mode, then you better cover your eyes because there are plenty of comics where he gets in and loses fights while not in those persona's.

so why is thanos gone and hulk isnt, whos to say hulk cant go toe to toe with him? so hen produced an energy blast that fried his skin? so what, vector did to,so he grabbed his hand-so what? plenty of people have.

The hell does that have to do with anything?

Thanos was killed by a being specifically created to kill him by a cosmic elder god.

Seriously, what the hell does that have to do with the Hulk?

I mean, Quasar is dead and Jessica Drew is alive. Does that mean she is a match for Quasar?

God you have to stop reaching and assuming.

As for Hulk v Thanos

Thanos has treated him like a ******ed child to be locked in his room if he didn't behave every single time they have met. So you've got nothing on that front either.

That works both ways. Juggs feet were dug in the ground too. If we follow your logic that means that WWH couldn't budge classic Juggs. Meaning classic Juggs is just as strong as WWH.

As for that second sentence about cosmics..i'll admit...i have no clue what you are trying to say.

So Ang why did you ignore this post?
