Sentry being able to stalemate Galactus would be a statement to how powerful Sentry is. I doubt they would make a claim like that just for Sentry to "drive away" Galactus through other means like FF4 and Gravity other than a full out fight. Marvel did Say Sentry is COSMIC level.

We don't see any planets being destroyed.

If you want to be specific, chunks and bits of it were being "burnt" off.

You're in denial.

You don't beleive Cell's statements but beleive a statement about Galactus. Typical OBD logic.

Weigh in the factors for and against it.

No, That's EGO!

You calling me ignorant is flaming.

Compare to what you posted regarding my posts and what I chatter, that's far tame in comparison.

herakles? Silicon Surfer! THE GUY WHO'S NAME STARTS WITH A B AND IS REALLY GOOFY AND HARD TO SAY AND HAS THOR IN HIS AVATAR!!!! COME GET YOURS!!!! WRONG! YOU GUYS WERE ALL WRONG!!!!!!!!!! IN YOUR FACE!!!!!!!! I TOLD YOU SO!!!! I TOLD YOU SO FOR YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAH!!!!!!!!

HULK>SENTRY>GALACTUS

UNDENIABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

BOO YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I explained why the Hulk > Sentry > Galactus is extremely debatable.

Chances are, with regards to the Sentry/Galactus thing. Sentry did what Gravity did in the recent FF issue.

Gave big G enough juice that he was sated, causing him to leave earth alone. You could reasonably view that as a stalemate considering that it's Sentry basically just fending off Galactus using only his own power and no prep time or plot devices and both walked away unharmed.

Well, that depends on whether you see that as a stalemate.

A group of Earth's fighters could stop Galactus heralds, all of which are cosmic level.

The most likely scenario is that Galactus was in dire straights when he fought a full power Sentry, and in the course, realized he'd probably starve to death before he could finish the fight, and stalemated that way.

I'll take that as a victory.

NOW THAT'S HE'S FIRMLY ABOVE GALACTUS AND SENTRY THERE IS NONE!!! NOT THE SURFER! NOT THOR! NOT JUGGERNAUT! NO ONE!!! HE IS THE STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!!!!!HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS THOUGHT I WAS ANNOYING BEFORE!!!!! NOW IT IS UNDENIABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're absolutely right. It's undeniable that you're annoying.
Way to be self-aware.

And Hulk is in no way above Galactus. He's not even remotely close to Galactus. Seriously do us all a favor. Sit down for a few minutes and have yourself a thought.

Seriously it'll change your life.

Nothing was destroyed.

You're in denial.

Nope, your being a hypocrite.

Weigh in the factors for and against it.

There are none. your using A double standard that's all.

That is a strong possibility, or the Sentry was capable of siphoning off Galactus' power to feed his own, as he's been stated to pull in severe amounts of energy around him, forcing Galactus to stalemate.

Take it what you will. I don't believe he's "the strongest there is".

He's not firmly above Galactus. Didn't you read my post?

Sentry being able to stalemate Galactus would be a statement to how powerful Sentry is.

Somewhat. The lack of details doesn't help.

I doubt they would make a claim like that just for Sentry to "drive away" Galactus through other means like FF4 and Gravity other than a full out fight. Marvel did Say Sentry is COSMIC level.

Actually, the original Sentry miniseries was suppose to be entirely one-shot.

According to Genis-Vell, Sentry draws energy from 'everywhere'.

also a good theory. Either way I have no problem with how powerful Sentry is supposed to be entirely because he's crazy.
It leaves me with the hope that he'll just snap and go ape**** one day and kill everyone I hate.

DEBATABLE!? IT'S UNDENIABLE!!!! YOU ARE IN DENIAL!!! SENTRY AND GALACTUS STALEMATED!! AND THEN HULK WIPED THE FLOOR WITH THE SENTRY!!!!!!

EVEN SAYING IT'S "DEBATABLE" IS A STEP FORWARD FOR YOU THOUGH!

The second one did sort of address that, seemingly lowering him in power, though, in several ways, it gave him a lot more. x.x

The statement is what it is. Sentry was able to stalemate Galactus.

The absence of details can lead to a variety of speculation that'd be endless, leading releveant debates and topics in circles with no end.

Since it was originally to be oneshot, that kind of detail wasn't really necessary.

I'll post it again, since I think you missed it.

We don't know the details of Sentry stalemating Galactus. And the latter's power is heavily related to his hunger. For all we know, Galactus could have tried to consume Earth to sate his hunger, and the Sentry would have stalemated Galactus.

It'd be ridiculous to believe that Sentry would have stalemated a full-power Galactus. Otherwise, it can be said that Sentry stalemates Eternity in power, and Hulk > Eternity. Which is utter stupidity.

And Sentry's full power in World War Hulk #5, the supposed "power of a million exploding suns", can't even compare to the Galactus Event in Annihilation #6.

For all his power, the Earth survived the Sentry.

3 star systems at least was destroyed by the Galactus Event.

How so?

For the most part, we don't see any references to strength, he can easily fly into space and junk, but really, he doesn't seem to do anythign strong other than smash Attuma, and destroy Terrax (though, why and how he was there is debatable). However, we do see he's easily beyond the speed of light, and can apparently rearrange matter in biological organisms with ease.

Well, according to Pak, though he is touted as Earth's most powerful superhero, he lacks the training to properly utilize his powers.

Of course, there's also him being a mental case and all. . .

Like I said, he doesn't have the capacity to control his powers, and really, is unwilling to explore them for the most part, simply coming across as the hero we all see him as, which is an archetypal sort of hero.

It's like a dumb, but strong Hulk who just waves around his arms, or Speedball without any exploration, or even the Silver Surfer, if all he did was shoot blasts unrefined.

More powerful than he makes himself out to be.

At its most literal observation, we see a blast englufing planets, and bits and chunks are being burned off it as a result.

It is you fighting.

Both of us are to blame actually, since neither accedes or put it aside. This thread is already off-topic as it is.

Cell statements you calling hyperbole but accepting Galactus statements with no proof at all. That is hypocritical.

The latter is supported by art on-panel.

It's you.

As I said, both of us are to blame. Even as we post in response to one another like this.

Let's see, In WWH we see the Hulk

1. Defeat a fake Black Bolt under unknown circumstances possibly with the assistance of the entire Warbound or possibly not. We don't know.

2. Fight a fake Colossus and some kids. Most of more formidable X-Men are conveniently elsewhere.

3. Run like a coward from Juggernaut.

4. Fight a Dr. Strange who it has been speculated on these boards is a fake but is not proven. Score victories by methods that have been previously stated to be impossible, namely physically injuring an astral form. Scrapes out his "victory" only when his opponent lets up due to collateral damage. Is losing badly up to that point.

5. Fights the Sentry, a major head case, who apparently from little I have heard didn't even want to fight let alone win. Both end up depowered. Since Sentry is apparently happy being depowered and Hulk presumably would not be if he was still around that would seem to be a victory for the Sentry. The Sentry's stalemating of Galactus remains a rumor and in any case does not require coming even close to matching Galactus's power. All it requires is to force Galactus to expend more energy than it is worth to him. Galactus is energy stingy under most circumstances and will not go for the win unless it is "economic" for him.

Yeah, the Hulk makes an impressive showing.

What about Morlun, in the comics, it's SPECIFICALLY STATED that his punch is far stronger than even the hulk's.

That is among one of the most idiotic posts I have seen in a long time. Of course, I have seen them in favor of the Hulk as well. Keep it up.

Thor's really gotta ruin the Sentry's s*** to kill that "Earth's most powerful hero" noise. That would really make my day.
