The Suicide Squad: General Discussion and Speculation

I'm so happy we're only about a month out from release. I can't wait!

One of the greater and more overlooked character improvements seems to be Rick Flagg to me.

Dude was just a grumpy lovesick soldier in first movie, now he is a sarcastic, caring-father figure to team. I loved the look he gives to Harley during rain, all the sarcastic replies to Shark, Peacemaker and Ratcatcher and even Thinker as an enemy.

Lets hope his aligment wont cause him to sacrifice himself to save a bunch of expandable psychos, but comrades at heart.

Ahhhh I want Man Bat (and Clay Face) in live action so bad.

Freeze and Deathstroke strike me as a bit too A-list for the team Gunn has assembled here.

KGBeast would’ve been interesting. Wonder if they would’ve kept the actor from BVS and come up with some scenario where he survived what happened at the end of that film.

Fingers crossed, if Gunn gets to do a sequel, Livewire is on his line-up.

Man Bat, Black Spider, Solomon Grundy and Killer Frost should be in next TSS sequel.

Maybe even KG Beast and Kite Man.

Yeah i feel like those are characters that need a "bigger" approach and especially Freeze with the emotional weight his character has.
Its my dream to have a proper Mr Freeze story in live action form.

The rest makes you hope that he gets to do a second one, would love to see manbat and livewire from Gunn.

Some of the character descriptions of the Official merchandise (poker cards)

Rick Flag (Past events described link him to Ayers's Suicide Squad(2016) movie, so earlier movie is acknowledged)

King Shark looks awesome in that picture!

Anyone else considering this movie for their first "return to theaters" viewing? Seems like it could be the perfect summer movie to see on the big screen.

I'm definitely seeing it in the theater, but I've already started going back to the theater since late last year.
