Loving Cammo's art in this preview. I wish it was just him and Stegman on the book.

I'm missing Stegman's art. Wish it were just Stegman. :[

I like Ramos' art more than Camuncoli's.

When are we gonna get Stegman back? :(

Not until #9. :[

EDIT: I lied. We don't get him back till #10 >:[

It goes:

#4-6, #9: Camucoli
#7-8: Ramos
#10: Stegman

Hmmm... Spider-Ock's lookin' a little wider than normal. Or is it just me?

Spidey in Avengers! And to think I was considering dropping Avengers. The double shipping is killing me, thanks Marvel! :p

Yes, I do think. Right down to the pose. The Campbell cover is obviously better. Why is Spidey even posed so awkwardly in the Bagley cover? His right leg is just kind of floating there, like he's straddling the guy...

Is this meant to be an homage? If so, why? Is the Campbell cover really that iconic?

Aloha,
If memory serves me, this was the cover to the first JMS Spider-Man.So maybe Bags is doing a homage to his first appearance on Amazing(Superior) Spider-Man.

No worries... I think he gets kicked off the team around issue #6... :csad:

But it happens in Superior, not the Hickman Avengers book. Hickman looks to be building towards it though. It's nice to see that we got guys at Marvel now that actually believe in this crazy little thing called continuity.

Clearly you're on drugs.

absolutely that...

Clearly you guys should learn a little tolerance for others' opinions.

I think people just have a hard time appreciating the stylism of Ramos' art, which I don't have a problem with. I especially like the way he draws some of the girls. I prefer Ramos' unique stylism over Camucoli's boring stale art.

See, I find Ramos' art more interesting then straight by the numbers art. I do like his girls, something about the eyes and lips.

But, to some of THUNDERSTRIKE's complaints, Ramos does exaggerate and that includes anatomy, and I concede that sometimes he does it too much to the point it breaks.

But, I do like Stegman's and Camucoli's art as well...

Well exuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me for being a Camu-holic. :o

I have no problem with you preferring Camucoli over Ramos, it was your comment that if you thought otherwise, you were on drugs. It was also a general comment at all the Ramos bashing on this thread.

Plus, I was just messing with you, because, by and large, I enjoy your posts and agree many or most of the time.

THUNDERSTRIKE, on the other hand, is just ornery. :oldrazz:

Well, at least we share a hatred of the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon.

Well you can count me in on the USM toon hate. SSM was on the fast track to being the BEST series of all time in my book. Seriously, I consider Batman TAS the cream of the crop and SpecSM was close to moving into that territory before its unfair demise. And that's MY opinion.....and yes I'm probably on something before anyone asks. :oldrazz:

I would say The Spectacular Spider-Man was to Spider-Man what Batman The Animated Series was to Batman. I think they were on par. To me, Spectacular was better than the Raimi trilogy and The Amazing Spider-Man movie from last year.
