Is it wrong that I actually care more about this then the actual suit? Lol....where did you hear about this Kal?

I don't remember exactly. I heard it was going to be more like Kingdom Come. Swept back with a curl....not sure how accurate that is though. I hope it's true

Were people not a fan of his longer hair then. I really liked it in certain scenes in others it was " meh " I hope the spit curl doesn't return. IMO that was a different era thing it has no place in the 21st century.

Spit curls were in fashion from the 1920-50's . No doubt the curl is a iconic part of superman but imo i was glad to see it not incorperated into the MOS design. Just look at Micheal jackson's for thought ,no way would he be wearing that billie jean jericurl in the 90's that he had in the 80's. Different era's different hairstyles simple as that.

Spit curls are not fashion a statment. They are not "do's" like a ducktail, a mullet or a beehive or a jheri curl that come in and out of fashion. that's just how someone's hair is.

No, it isn't. If your hair is wavy and you brush it to one side, it can curl like that.

Which is exactly how Henry's hair grows. Which is why people were baffled when it was styled to avoid it.

As for hair dos going out of style, you'd have a point if the Hitler Youth cut and pompadour weren't back in style.

It just seems like a waste to have a Superman actor whose hair uncannily looks like that and not use it in the film.

No, it isn't. If your hair is wavy and you brush it to one side, it can curl like that.

Natural curls and spit curls are different , I agree Henry has natural curls which would go nicely with his Superman but take for instance Brandon rouths Superman where he has straight hair with a spit curl looks weird. If Henry has a shorter hairstyle he will look better with his curls. I just personally like the slicked back look thats all.

Yeah i would like different hair and a lighter suit. I feel that now Batman is on the scene, they should lighten up superman in order to emphasise Batman's darkness, I wouldn't want all their suits to be faded.

Yea it can do good point, as i said in my earlier post it was quite inconsistant throughout the film and would look good and then bad in some parts. So in a way i can see the shorter hairstyle coming back . Funny im just looking at some henry pics now and the hairstyle he had at the premier looked fantastic.

It's only a bad idea if you can't carry it off (a spit curl in this case), and Superman can.
And I like the idea of Superman being a little old fashioned anyway.

I didn't mind his hair in some scenes, and I know it seems rather silly and nitpicky to talk about hair but it something that adds to my enjoyment .....it doesn't take it away for me no matter what decision....just don't make him bald lol...gotta draw the line somewhere...

Pretty much. There's absolutely no reason to go backwards. We all know that was a design choice inspired by the times.

EXACTLY!I'm getting reeeeeeeeeeeeal sick and tired of those goshdarnin trunk comments. Seriously NOT GONNA HAPPEN! Usually I leave at least a 1% chance of something happening but the trunks don't even get that.
