BvS The Superman Suit Thread - Part 3

It's because the BvS shield is a little more horizontal than the MoS one (plus the seem running through the middle) like the SR one. Which is good for me, since that's how I prefer it.

I wish the Supergirl suit from the TV Show had a similar shield. I like the classic one, but this one is much more modern and fits in a bit better.

I think the S on the Supergirl suit is so cheap looking. It looks like what you would see on a Supergirl T-shirt to me. The BvS shield, in contrast, really looks like a coat of arms to me; it has a regal feel to it. The more I look at it (or the MOS one; they're nearly the same) the more I love it. It's probably my favorite shield to date, in comics or film.

Same. I'm probably one of the few who prefers these costumes to any previous depiction, comics or film.

Yessss! The BvS suits and S shield are the best incarnation to date. I wish so bad the comics would look more like this.

Has anyone else noticed the kryptonion symbols located above the bicep/below the deltoid?? I think it's cool.

Been known since the ice bucket challenge video. I like all the changes on the suit except this one.

I agree, imo This is THE BEST Superman and Batman Costume that we have ever had. Don't get me wrong. I'm not downing the previous versions. I liked most of the previous versions as well, I think only complaint I ever had was the Batman & Robin 2nd suit.

I was the same way at first, but after seeing several pictures the "downsizing" of the shield is barely noticeable. At least it was not knocked down to Superman Returns size.

I think they're the best in all media. Past and current. Not a fan of the trunks.

It looks too alien to me. Part of Superman's appeal is that, while he may come form another planet, at heart, he is human. It just doesn't look like an "S" to me.

Well, to start off with...he's an alien, so yeah, that's a good thing. And it doesn't look like an "S"??? If this doesn't look like an "S" to you, what exactly does it look like??
