BvS The Superman Suit Thread - Part 4

This was my personal favorite shade of blue.

I've always loved how it looked in these shots. Dark, but vibrant at the same time.

Didn't know there was any blue in that scene it was so darkly lit. Suit looks black and red to me.

Really? I think it looks very clearly blue. A dark blue, for sure, but not so dark that it looks black.

At first I thought it might just be the settings on my tv making it seem black, however I've watched it on my phone, tablet, other people's tv's, portable players etc and each time it looks pretty much black to me. It's just so steeped in shadow.

The suit is definitely dark and in some scenes, too dark. You want to see it with perfect colorization? Watch Man of Steel on a 65 inch OLED 4K UHD TV.

i just edit the colors on my tv, personally... that way, it looks the way i want it to look. i also do this when i watch Superman Returns, even though it is more difficult to edit

I ran into the same problem. I found that pressing the power button tends to work best.

Yeah that screencap that blue is obviously blue for me. But honestly with that scene though they crushed too much of the color anyway.

I know that "Color corrected MOS" was supposed to be a joke but there's a reason some thought it was serious.

Doesn't really matter now though because I think we won't be seeing those kind of scenes again.

I mostly just wish that one piping bit connected with the buckle be it oval or square. It just doesn't look right to me how the piping just stops there.

In falling more and more in love with the BvS suit (but Team Oval Buckle damnit! t but I will say given the muted colours of that pic there that I think if both were full colour then maybe the MOS suit would look more favourable colour wise. I actually know what my problem is with the BvS S shield (not that I have any major problem with it I freaking love it). I think it's the position on the MOS suit it's a little higher. I think it looked better higher.

Maybe it's a bit lower for the shirt rip (I can dream can't I? t
