Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm feeling better, but I'm still not over this flu 100% yet. Nevertheless, I got on to check my email and found a site that has images for all eight Happy Meal toys. Get this: there's a VENOM toy, too!

Unfortunately, these are nothing like the 1995 "Spider-Man" Happy Meal toys, and that's not exactly a good thing. None of the villains appear to be poseable at all. Not the arms, the waist, the head...nothing.

See the images here for yourself:

Water squirting Venom looks nice, as does the Doctor Octopus toy. But I wish you could move them! When the Hasbro Doc Ock has more articulation (and that's saying something), you KNOW that's a bad sign.

Web-shooter Spider-Man actually IS poseable, though not by much. Still, he looks great and he's one of my favorites, if not my favorite of the eight. The wall-crawling red-and-blue Spider-Man is also nice, but the red suction cups on his hands are WAAAAY too big. I wish they were smaller, like what KFC did for Spider-Man in the mid-1990s in their Marvel Superheroes series. Those suction cups look more like red shields than a wall-crawling feature to me.

The black costume Spider-Man toys, though, I think could've been better. I like the wall-crawling one, but the "string crawler" one doesn't look that good.

Green Goblin has a nice "pull back, watch it zoom" action feature, but the pose is a bit weird in my opinion. And Sandman just looks like he could fall over at any God given moment, considering how HUGE his right mace hand is.

I don't know. Maybe I'm too picky. Some I will pick up (especially the villains, as you rarely get toys of these guys), while others I will not (I mean YOU "string crawler" Spider-Man!).

What do you guys think?
