For the most part I enjoyed the "Nightmare on Christmas" episode. I particularly liked the nods to the '60s cartoon, blind future version of Hawkeye and Luke Cage's tiara.

Yeah, I'd go as far as to say that all the other Spidey shows have been better, including Spider-Man Unlimited. At least that show gave us Rino Romano. The only thing USM has going for it, the animation. But, with the advances in tech and the nice budget that Disney has probably afforded the show, this is most likely a given.

Agree this series is the worsed sm series yet and it sucks because the animation art style is perfect but ever thing else is just terable.

1) Marvel sells back to Sony the animation rights.
2) Sony sells Marvel the rights to TSSM.
3) Marvel and Sony enter a deal where rights are shared.

Those are the only possibilities for Spectacular to return. Weisman, Cook and the cast have stated their desire to return so that won't be an issue.

lol. Sorry for getting your hopes up. Mine are up too just because the possibility does exist. There's been an interest in seeing the show return from the fanbase and even all those involved in creating the show talk about how much they'd love to return to making it. Check out this article that I posted a couple of weeks ago. Besides being a fun read, this is where Greg talks about how he brings up the idea with execs of possibly continuing the show.

So by the end of this, the show will have 91 or 104 episodes (depending on the order). All the fans may hate it... but the target demographic has been eating it up.

I watched all of season 1 and all of season 2. I tried watching episodes in season 3 but I just couldn't stomach it any more.

matter of opinion, Zeez, that show IS an acquired taste and it's left a bad taste in my mouth a long time ago... so much so that I can't stomach it and would rather NOT taste any more of that s**t that Marvel's animated department is serving up...

Woah! I thought for sure it had been cancelled.

I can't be too mad about this though, Season 3 has been a big improvement so far for the most part and I think the show has potential in the long run.

No it is not official. But all of the garbage BS rumors that haters tried to spread on this show, Avengers Assemble, and Hulks and the Agents of Smash ended up being fake. So its nice to see some more news that could make them cry on their keyboards more.
