I don't see what difference it would make if they cancel it or not. It's done all the damage it can do by now.

watched that vulture episode, didn't really care for him being one of Doc Ock's transforming hype-bread experiments, instead of the wings being an invention of his

since they went the route of him being younger (and not making the wings him self) an given his emo look, I would have preferred him to be revealed as "Blackie" Drago other then Adrian (leaving room for Toome to still make a proper appearance, later) tho, it's looking like we may not be getting a later

Well it doesn't matter really cause Marvel is changing their ways for what they call a phase 2 of Marvel Animation.

Disney and Marvel has admitted to what the call a failure to a true hit for Disney XD which is a struggling network.

With Marvel admitting that they have written bad stories and had a bad direction for their shows, saying they underestimated the audience and won't happen again for Phase 2's new direction.

With this statements it has let me to believe that this show is ending and HAOS second season will be the last cause they really don't fit into Phase 2.

For any hope of getting another quality Spider-Man show, they need to cancel this one. USM has dug too deep of a hole at this point to turn the show around.

I hope that is all true. And with Greg Weisman leaving Rebels, I'm hoping it was to take up a new Spider-Man show.

Same but it was just announced that Greg Weisman is writing a new comic series a prequel based on Rebels with Kenan as the lead so we will see.

Cancelling it will make room for continuing the habit of releasing two Spider-Man cartoons each decade.

i don't think it will be canceled yet, they already have it crossing over with the hulk cartoon and the avengers cartoon

so untill they all get canceled i don't see it happening

According to this http://animationguildblog.blogspot.ca/2014/08/animation-work-in-and-around-los-angeles.html the production has ended.

Put two and two together with whats happening in the movie industry between Sony and Marvel, even if it's more clean than Marvel vs Fox.

They don't need Spider-Man to introduce the Marvel universe any longer which is what the show is.

And the team behind it is moving on with other projects like Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars Rebels.

I predict a new solo Spider-Man series in the future with a different team, with either Greg Weisman or Paul Dini as the head producer.

I forgot that. Hopefully that wouldn't preclude working on a new animated Spider-Man.

He could probably do both, but I'm sure if they offer a Spider-Man show to him, I'm sure they could someone take over the comic if it's an ongoing...

I've only seen a handful of the TSSM episodes, so on that basis, I don't feel like I'm qualified to make a full assessment of the show.

Not trying to make a comparison of either show, because of I have not seen enough of the Spectacular Spider-Man to make a full critique.

I will say this much about Ultimate Spider-Man, it's an interesting show, the animation is good. The breaking of the 4th wall moments at times are nerve-wracking. What do like about the show is that it's sort of like Marvel Team-Up translated in animated form in terms of having him team-up with other heroes. I think a lot of the voice-acting is good and a lot of production values, in terms of visuals.

Much of it based on the Ultimate interpretation of Spider-Man, so as a 616-fan, I find myself getting used to changes such as a massively muscled, mutated Green Goblin, more avianesque Vulture and so forth. Kind of weird to me.

Jesse's episode is boring.
I had a few laughs here and there, but most of it is boring.
So much for cutting down the damage, Spider-Man dropped a billboard to defeat Shocker.

I can't bring myself to watch that episode. I'll take your word for it.

Personally I think the show sucks but I have to admit Spidey going to difference dimensions to see different versions of himself was pretty good. So 5 good episodes in 3 seasons.

WTF??? why is Jessie crossing over with Spidey?
what the hell? no one can convince me that this show doesn't suck ass :o

Seriously Disney cancelled SSM for this?
