Seriously, I don't understand how Disney could replace SSM with this? how do you go from a quality show (IMO the best Spider-Man show ever! STAS being a close second) to an unwatchable piece of ****!?!?

Because they didn't own Spectacular Spider-Man and after getting the TV rights back for Spider-Man, they wanted to make their own series. And its been a huge success.

But why is it so bad?

like I've said before... success does not equate with quality... you can put out a s**t product and it might still sell well... it doesn't mean that it really IS good...

it just means that there's a lot of consumers out there with bad taste...

Justin Bieber is the current poster boy for this.

Do you think Disney XD will air the Spider-Verse episodes of Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors before December 2014 in the USA or will they wait till 2015 to air them?

if you like your humor juvenile and inane, you'll LOVE this show, but if you're looking for something with even a TRACE of intelligence and quality to it, then this ain't the one for you... no hate, just fact... see for yourself...

The top post seems to indicate that you have seen the show. I'm not sure what you're asking in the second post I quoted--are you looking for people to give you reasons why the show is/is not so bad because you can't figure it out?

Another indication that the show might be really be over, this is from the Vice President of Marvel Animations when asked a question about the show in his blog.

I know I really shouldn't be worried, but I'm seeing certain precedents that are indeed making me quite a bit worried. I hope Season 3 of Ultimate Spider-Man won't be the last. I mean, we still have so much to explore and go over(I'd like to see Harry finally come into his own Hero like Flash did and also like to see more of Flash, too, i.e. his continued school education [which'd make a fun side-plot], plus Aaron a.k.a Molecule Kid (I'm the 1st guy who asked about him).I really love this show.
Answer
Thanks. The work that Production VP Eric Radomski and Supervising Director Alex Soto have to done to keep up the show’s quality and consistency has been the major reason we’ve manage to stay on the for for so long.

I think given the things you;re asking about here, you;re going to really enjoy Season 3.

As for more USM…

…Who knows!?!?!

"...the show's quality and consistency..."

Quality? lol. That's pretty funny.

Consistency? Yeah, it's been consistent. I'll give 'em that much.

I think he was talking about the animation quality in general cause that was both their fields in production.

Animation was awesome and the action was def we can give the show that much at least

It won't be over. Not until there's no MCU stuff to promote.

They don't need Spider-Man for promotions any longer Avengers alone can do that On Earth, while Guardians of the Galaxy can promote the cosmic side of things.

I'll only give the show what it deserves. The animation was good. Nothing extraordinary. And imo the action scenes left much to be desired.

WTF??? why is Jessie crossing over with Spidey?
what the hell? no one can convince me that this show doesn't suck ass :o

Seriously Disney cancelled SSM for this?

Well, Disney had the brilliant idea to use one of Marvel's most popular characters for marketing. No sarcasm there, it's a good move from a business perspective but as a fan I really hate what they do with Spidey, or Marvel heroes in general. It's odd how Marvel has great live action movies but when it comes to animation it all falls apart.
Instead of catering to everyone like with the movies they choose to go primarily for young audiences with the cartoons. And thus we get lifeless shows like Ultimate, and the Avengers cartoon. Marvel heroes deserve better than this.
As a fan I hope they cancel both this and the Avengers cartoon and start all over with a more serious approach to the characters, with no chibis, no pointless gags every 5 minutes, no team ups with characters I don't care about, no Spidey acting like a 12 year old fanboy towards the Avengers, no obvious marketing for the movies etc.
And by serious approach I don't mean grim dark, swearing, over the top violence and blood like DC does, don't worry.
