BvS The Unabashed SPOILER Thread. ENTER AT OWN RISK. - Part 1

Okay, so some pictures have just recently come out. Because of that, I think it's time we had a thread where we could freely discuss things without having to use spoiler tags. I would've been happy to leave everything in the "All Things..." Thread, but frankly, no one in there is being subtle about what they've seen, even WITH spoiler tags and whatnot, and they ARE ruining things for people who want to continue to post, but don't want to know too much.

I had a brain fart and realized that I can't link you to the images without getting in trouble. I have some, but can't share them in this public place. If only we had a bit more privacy...oh well.

Discuss away.

Time for...

In regards to the previous responses to me, before Thor had made his entrance in the first Avengers's film, you already had several key members getting a whole lot of screen time and focus. If I'm not mistaken, Thor has the second least amount of Screen Time out of all of the Avengers, with Hawkeye having the least in that film.

Plus, the very fact that Superman dies at the end of this film pretty much gives the keys to the kingdom to Batman, who will undoubtedly be the one (with Diana alongside) to start recruitment for the JL.

Well, at least this kills the rumor about Clark Kent/Superman appearing in Wonder Woman though.

I love the Christ parallels, if you're going to do Doomsday on film for the first time.... You kill Superman

Then they might as well should resurrect him also before the end of BvS. No sense keeping him dead until JL.

Wouldn't you rather find out for yourself?

Umm some of us love and enjoy spoilers. It doesn't ruin things for us it enahcnes the experience and enjoyment. Thus the reason we are in here, the name of this thread the spoiler thread that's why we are here. So not sure why you'd ask that question in here haha

Seriously herolee, do you do this to yourself on purpose. Maybe Batman fails to put the team together because from everything we have seen so far he's a **** with trouble trusting others. Does that sound like the kind of guy who can inspire a team to get together? Ironman was involved with Shield first. Now Cap is the leader of the Avengers.
There is also the fact that people are moved by a good death. I foresee an increase in Superman's fanbase in the near future. Ask Captain America what an increase in fanbase can do for a character.

Superman dying could help with that "nothing besides a rock can hurt him" stigma he's been stuck with

Batman's weak to rocks too. Watch what happens when Doomsday cracks him with one. Besides, Superman haters are just gonna call him overpowered from coming back from the dead, say stuff like "Marvel keeps their characters dead", "Max Landis was right, the Death and Return of Superman ruined comic deaths", etc.

Just vocal minorities of people who wanna be heard. The vast majority of people have some fondness for Superman otherwise Man of Steel wouldn't have made as much money as it did, controversial or not.

Eh, this is the result of having unrealistic expectations for a character and realizing slowly in the coming months that things weren't going to go the way that you had hoped.

And it wasn't until "Age of Ultron" and his own sequel "WS" that saw Cap officially becoming the leader for the Avengers.

Superman doesn't have any solo films lined up after this and it's not even guaranteed that he'll play leadership role.

This is why I brought up the New 52 comparison awhile back. I mean look at the animated film "Justice League: War", which also featured Darkseid as their first main villain. Batman was the one that took charge of the group and Superman was just there to provide muscle support.

There's just no guarantee anymore that Snyder is going to allow Superman to have a good amount of screen time and role in JL anymore.

And it's just a kick to the gut that this has to all happen in a film that sees Batman kicking Superman's ass.

Do people really think that audiences are going to suddenly find Superman more popular after he's gotten his ass kicked by Batman?

And I'll say this once more...the ONLY group of fans, imho, that have something guaranteed to look forward to are Batman and Wonder Woman fans.

Batman is going to be portrayed as a badass in this film, he's got his comic book accurate looking costume, he's going to be able to survive fights against Superman and Doomsday and he's going to be in the "Suicide Squad" film as well, which are made up of villains that were all brought in by...wait for it, Batman.

And Wonder Woman is set to be in her own solo film right after this one.

Sorry but this thread has become such a disaster because of you ^

Just being honest.

You wouldn't be Broseph if you weren't honest. Frankly, I'd be concerned if you were suddenly a pushover and reaching the same level of crazy point that I am.

I'm actually hoping for a miracle tomorrow night..that my friend was actually lying to me, and that the poster who said that he'll go to a special showing tomorrow will give out some much needed good news.

Uh yeah, I do. Especially if he saves Batman's life from a situation that he obviously can not survive on his own. This isn't just a physical battle. It's a philosophical battle as well. I expect Superman to win that one. If people can't appreciate that then maybe Superman isn't the character for them.

My comments still stand with each post you make. Just saying.

I actually wish I was more of a Batman fan right now because I'd be happy with whatever happens in BvS.

You know, I was actually thinking awhile back that there was no way Superman could stay dead at the end of this film because the early tweet reactions that we were getting were so positive.

I mean it didn't make sense; would people be that happy with a cliffhanger like that? Then I realized "The Dark Knight" was critically acclaimed by people and it pretty much ended on a cliffhanger, with Batman on the run after taking the fall for Dent's crimes (who had succumb to Joker's words)

So yeah, now I think it's possible that Superman could die and the film could still be loved by many.

Yeah...Yeah I know.

Just saying....you could probably guess that I won't be giving a decent post in these threads until after the film passes. Just letting you know.
