Casanova's first two arcs give him a permanent stay in grace.

:funny: Na I have heard his Casanova is great. But his UXM and Thor/Fear Itself is so ****ing bad, he gets a :down from me i'm afraid.

Casanova should be retitled Throw Weird S*** at a Wall and See What Sticks! :argh:

Casanova and Iron Fist made me love Fraction, so I thought he had for sure gone super saiyan by now and become comic jesus.

I guess not. :csad:

He's still great to me. I haven't read his X-Men and Thor stuff that's apparently so reviled, so I really only know his Casanova and Iron Fist run, both of which are pure bliss. But I feel similarly with Bendis, too. I don't care for his Avengers stuff or anything, but he's done more than enough great stuff outside of that like Alias, Scarlet and Powers to make me like him a lot, too. Sometimes you've just got to get away from a writer's mainstream stuff to find the real good ****.

I really need to read Powers, damn it.

This so many times!

Fraction made me drop Thor and I really didn't want too.

Bah. If they can't write great mainstream comics, they should just stop writing mainstream comics and stick to their fringe stuff instead of making the rest of us suffer. :o

Mainstream comics pay the bills for writers. Nick Spencer seems genuily loved, but from what it seems only Thunder AGENTS is a loved Big company comic he's writing, now i personally did enjoy his Secret Avengers tie-ins, but apparently (yeah, just reading from others) his War Machine comic is a total bore.

Kirkman is such a pretentious ******* when it comes to mainstream comics. This coming from the guy who's claim to fame is writing a ****ing Zombie comic. Albeit a good one, but you get the point.

I like Robert Kirkman, but he does have a bit of an inferiority complex about his success

I'm intriqued by the Invincible Compedium, i mean 35€ for 47 issues worth of context? Thats just... Outrageous!

Yeah, that joke has been made 52 times already. :o
