Hush, stop bringing up Angel and Buffy, those shows are over, they sucked. No one but you and maybe BrianWilly gives a ****. Stop.

So What Does Everyone Think About Superman Renouncing his U.S Citzenship?

Ah those crazy liberal apologists! or about time Supermans a global icon!

Lost interest in harry potter after order of the phoenix.
You should check it out its balls to the wall action apperantley.

I don't understand what the point is? Sure Superman is a global icon, so is Batman, should he give up his citizenship as well? Superman is as American as apple pie, people need to stop this ****. That being said, it's not really a big deal but I'm sure they could have told the same story without having him ripping up his social security card or whatever.

I don't even remember that. I might have to watch Angel again sometime.

To be honest the knife wasn't even the source of the shape shifting but rather Lindsay himself had gotten powers and made the Knife shift into a sword.

Ummmm....No. I'm currently watching the show and will continue to bring it up as much as I like. :)

wait, wtf? that sounds pretty stupid for 2 reasons

1- why was that even brought up
2- superman wouldn't even have citizenship. clark probably would, but that's kinda sketchy too. but superman doesn't have time to naturalize in costume.

Remember who we're talking about here.

Actually I do like Buffy and Angel I also love Matlock but I don't bring it up every goddamn day 100 times a day like it's the best thing since the bread slicer.

The thing with Superman didn't bother me, and really, is just kind of a reflection of our times. And part of me thinks it's a not so thinly veiled jab at JMS' Grounded idea, too.

sounds like your hang up man. feel free to bring up matlock whenever as far as i'm concerned. or perry mason for that matter. but not murder she wrote...**** murder she wrote.

I didn't realize there was a huge renounce your citizenship movement.

Yeah, I need to stop hanging out with nerds. Buffy and Lost is all these mother****ers talk about. *****, did you watch the new episode of the Real Housewives?:cmad::cmad::cmad:

That's not what I....meant, but yeah, there kind of is in a symbolic fashion as the world becomes more and more globalized.

no one should ever watch real housewives darth. or the bad girls club.

How would you know Lix?

How would you know Lix?
because that one chick with the dark hair and blonde rogue streak is hot as hell. i'll watch for five min before i get so angry at the stupidity that i have to change the channel.

but seriously, how does superman even have a social security card? he should get deported now just for making that pointless liberal *****e just to be a liberal *****e move. he ain't captain america, i doubt many people other than frank miller see him as an extension of the government.

I think it would be a bigger deal if:

a) It wasn't in a 3 pages crappy backup anniversary story.
b) It wasn't dealing with such a lame story like real world Iran.
c) If Superman wasn't acting like such a self-righteous little ***** in it. I cannot stand when people write Superman this way. The last thing Superman is, is political. The guy catches people who fall off buildings and stops earthquakes and floods. He does not deal with civil unrest in the middle east or drug trafficking in the inner cities.

I think you watch it daily and are afraid we will judge you.

Yeah thats for B and C list heroes to do while Superman shows up with all his A-list friends and take credit for it.

You guys are just looking too much into the whole Superman thing, really.

The story was too political for me. I'm going to stand here like a statue to prove a point or something for 24 hours. What the ****? I consider myself a liberal, but it's no surprise all these guys who wrote this issue are liberals as well and I can't stand the infusion of their politics in comics. Leave your opinions to yourselves, have Superman punch something.

pretty much.

My motto with comics is that "I go to the DC Universe to read about Heroes being Heroes not Heroes being political." We get to much politics in the real world, why do our comics need that?
