@Assassin: I'm not sure how Invincible is really the best hero book. I've read Vol.1 of the Ultimate collection and it was ok. I tend to be a little cool when it comes to superheroes with close references to characters from other companies.

@Tron: Sailor Venus? Really? You back in 1992 Tron?

In most cases, it's just an identification tool. Look we're here, were Americans, relax we got this.
Rest of the world: "We know, you don't need the flag, we picked up your trademarked ignorance and arrogance from a mile away..."

shouldn't you be crying while watching a wedding of people of no real significance on television?

Not as long as I have Blues vs Highlanders to watch instead...

Is that on right now? **** the Queen. Yeah, I said it. Come at me bro.

The sun never sets on the Empire. Thus at any given point of time, anyone in the Commonwealth is ****ing the Queen.

wow..watching The Adventures of Pete and Pete for the first time since it's original run.

ahh memories

The story was too political for me. I'm going to stand here like a statue to prove a point or something for 24 hours. What the ****? I consider myself a liberal, but it's no surprise all these guys who wrote this issue are liberals as well and I can't stand the infusion of their politics in comics. Leave your opinions to yourselves, have Superman punch something.

I am totally fine with the infusion of liberal politics into comic books

But that Superman story was silly. How does a superhero from space have citizenship anywhere

And doesnt everyone think he lives at the North Pole in his fortress anyway

You know, whatever happened to Drakon and HenchWench? Are they still around? I assume that Drakon is, since he's an admin and all, but Hench hasn't posted in here for a long time.

Their both still around :)

They just have not posted in this forum for a while

Also I loves your avatar. Sailor Venus! :hrt:

not snl:up:

so i think my new favorite show is giggalos on showtime. given this and how much i like the show hung...i'm noticing a trend. i think it's because i've always wanted to be a man-****e.

Let me know if you do I might want to hire you

infusion of politics, of any kind, is completely unnecessary....and favoring one and not the other makes you a total hypocrite, Mysti

The only time politics should be included in comics is if it's being satirized and made fun of.

No I just only like liberal politics

I also only like writers artists singers actors etc who are socially liberal

Yeah, well, George Clooney also lives in France :o
Don't want to be the annoying guy correcting people but Clooney lives in Italy on Lake Como Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp live in France though
Okay, switching gears, I'm kind of in the mood for some new music in the rock/alternative/pop-ish, but not overtly so category. Any recommendations?
The Airborne Toxic Event (Numb)
The Kills (Night Train, Nail In My Coffin)
The Wombats (Tokyo, Vampires & Werewolves)
Young Knives (Love my Name)
Mystery Jets (Dreaming Of Another World)
The Drums.
I like them even though they come across as *****ebags
How about Pulp?

Jarvis Cocker from Pulp was in Harry Potter

Wow I realized I was unsubscribed from this thread for 2 days and there's already 12 pages.

Anywoo, Has anyone read Gotham Noir? I just picked it up from work and was wondering if anyone has read it, it's been out of print since it was released.

They're actually reprinting the entire Sailor Moon collection this year, as well as Codename Sailor V for the first time in North America. So, I'm very much in the now.

Don't want to be that annoying guy correcting people but Brad Pitt lives in New Orleans, you must have been confused with the French Quarter.
