As someone who LOVES Brave & the Bold, I'm not very impressed so far. I'll check it out, but I'm not truly excited for this one.

Yeah, if he does show up, that was a very subtle reveal from Phil Bourassa. Though I kinda hope he doesn't join the team. At least not for a good while.

I read CA, Bleeding Cool, and occasionally CBR. Hardly ever Newsarama because all they report on is Red Sonja. Oh and Topless Robot for the lulz.

I love how Comics Alliance takes an off-hand comment and has the need to make a news article about it. It's one thing to speculate on a forum, but this? And I love how people assume that just because a young hero is being introduced, it means he/she will automatically join the team.

Comics Alliance is too whiny and controversy-hungry for me, and Bleeding Cool has wrong info all the time.

I'm cool with other sites, though.

Probably money, cinematic trailers cost a pretty penny so making it into a big feature film would cost a lot. I want to see it though, I love seeing cinematic trailers because some times it's far better than the game.


Also, I want to see this made into a full feature film.

Mass Effect would've been fairly unimpressive if it were a movie. There's no way you could get the depth of the games into a movie, so it'd lose a lot of the social commentary and intricate character work that makes it so great. At best, it'd be another cool-looking but relatively generic sci fi action/adventure movie. I certainly wouldn't see myself watching it over and over and over the way I've played the games from start to finish upwards of 5 times now.

Mass Effect is pretty generic as a sci-fi. Hell, it feels like the more human-centric Shadows Raiders: War Planets series back from the 90s. Shepherd's role is essentially Graveheart playing Paul Revere with a little James T. on the side for good measure.
