Oh man, there's 31 around where I live. Guess I should have expected that.

(Is it bad that this is reminding me of Sue Dibny? I just can't escape the Crises I guess...)

I'm re-reading Infinite Crisis and it kinda sucks, like the writing seems really amateur and the whole event seems very not needed.

Infinite Crisis is ok....it's not spectacular or anything, but you get some background on Power Girl and the superdouchetacular debut of Superboy Prime

I was checking the shirts this shops have and theres some really awesome Batman shirts. They all have this at the store, right? I know this is kinda dumb question but i just wanna make extra sure because i sure as hell wanna buy some of those sweet shirts while i'm in NY.

Just look at this incredibly accurate statement.

That's wear I got my Superboy shirt :D

Just reread Vengeance of Bane II. Awesome story. Anyone who thinks that Bane is just a 'roided up macho guy (I'm looking at you, Paul Dini and half the "Dark Knight Sequel" board!) should read that story. :cmad::up:

I assume you mean AA in that one, heh. I don't know, did he write the Bane episodes of B:TAS? I felt that was a pretty good representation of Bane

I just watched my first full episode of Brave and the Bold today. It was ****ing great. It was a musical episode, though, so I doubt it's standard, but I'm going to have to go back and watch this show now

it was good...musical episodes are not the norm...I'd recommend the Booster Gold and Deadman episodes if you can find them online

I'm about 115 issues into my attempt to read every issue of Thor now. Gerry Conway and John Buscema (:awesome:) have taken over from Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and Odin just died after a long fight with Mangog, who is totally one of the most awesome villains in comics evarr. Good times.

good luck Corp...I remember an issue where Thor was going at it with some giant and he was trying to teach the giant that it's not all about force

I don't think I've gotten to that one yet. I've been looking at covers for upcoming issues, and I have to say, I'm really looking forward to the #190s-200s. That's when we get to learn about Thor's other mortal lives and Brunnhilde the Valkyrie actually gets to do something with the other Asgardians rather than constantly being stuck in Defenders.

The guys behind BTAS have stated that they didn't use Bane much because they felt that he was just a gimmick character and a one-hit wonder.

And if it weren't for the overly emphasized accent (which was thankfully toned way back when they brought the actor back to do Bane's voice in The New Batman Adventures) the laughable changes to his mask, and the over the top wrestling theme of the climactic fight, I'd probably like his episode of BTAS a lot more.

I like the overly emphasized accent. I read Bane in the comics with that voice to this very day. :awesome:

I'm really trying to be a bit more open-minded about this whole Bane thing...but all I'm reading here is "waa waa waa...they got Bane wrong....waa waa waa"

it's like when Corp *****es and moans about Aquaman or Kyle Rayner...those guys are a bit more important than Bane and a good chunk of comic fans could give a ****

Who cares? If a character catches your fancy, you care about how they're portrayed because you have a vested interest in them. F*** the rest of the fans. That's what being a fan is all about.

Kind of the way all your stuff reads like "blah blah.....trying to get a rise out of you for no reason......blah blah blah"
