How did Gareth know Rick's name? He mentioned his name when Rick held that guy (with Glenn's pocket watch) at gunpoint. Something like "What do you want Rick?". I don't recall Rick and co. giving them any info about themselves. After they were captured Gareth gave them all code names when he directed them to that train cart. So I wonder if that was a goof.

Nope. Rick literally told him all of their names when they first met.
