I laughed when Rick one punch KOed Aaron during his pitch. Rick ain't messing around anymore! I hate applesauce too. Return of the RV. Glenn driving through all those zombies was an epic splatter fest. Rick shooting that zombie in the face with the flare gun was awesome. Looking forward to Alexandria.

I really enjoyed this episode overall, looking forward to the next episode!

Holy hell has the bigotry gone up 9000% over on the IMDb boards in reaction to the kiss. It's just like when Joe MacMillan had sex with that guy on Halt and Catch Fire.

All these people vowing they're not going to watch anymore are the same people who've been watching the whole time we've had a lesbian character, so it's pure double standard at work and hypocrisy that has nothing to do with religious beliefs or "moral objections".

That's why the IMDb boards are the worst. Most of that place is populated by the lowest of humanity.

This episode would have been way better if they went inside for like 5 minutes. Last few eps, while enjoyable, have been way too slow for my liking.

I agree. A little too much of episodes that almost entirely consist of back to back meaningful conversations with very little actual story progression.

Whaaaaaat? :wow: I guess I should have finally caught up on that show before reading this... lol.

Anyways, really good episode. Nice to finally see a change of location. No idea what Glenn was doing in this episode though, he really should have been paying enough attention to see a whole horde of walkers on the road in front of them, no excuse for that... And then not even a minute later he manages to get separated from the rest of the group in the woods.... He needs to start paying attention to his surroundings or something.

Wow, guessing TWD got crushed by the Awards tonight, since this thread usually hits a few pages by the time the episode is over.

Anyone else hear the electronic thumping sound from the Governor's theme whenever Aaron was talking and would say something that sounded a bit suspicious(like when he described how he would have ambushed them if it was his intention)?

I don't visit the IMDB boards for the same reason I don't read YouTube comments. There is nothing to gain from it.

They obviously were setting something up for when those two reunited although I think everyone was expecting something less left field. It also felt like it was a bit pandering to show how inclusive the show is but it didn't feel forced or awkward.

Not that I really care. I'm kind of hoping they'll pull something almost as scandalous and have Michonne and Rick get together since they wrote out Andrea and sort of replaced her with Michonne (or so I've gathered from the comics story where Andrea and Rick were/are? a couple).

This is what I am dying for.

That close up on Rick's eyes, I totally gasped. :( Such emotion in those eyes and I'm hormonal as hell so that doesn't help.

was it necessary for Rick to just walk up and punch out Aaron? Thats one of the reasons why I hate this bastard

After what has happened .... (with the governer, terminas, prison), Rick has trust issues. I wouldn't blame him.

I can totally understand Rick's deep trust issues (how many times has some slick-talking guy given the speech about how wonderful and safe his community is?), but punching Aaron was excessive and over-the-top.

That was a really moving ending, especially the callback to how Rick and Michonne said they heard nothing outside the walls of Woodbury and Terminus, and this time he hears children laughing. The close-up on Rick's eyes, and how they widen and the emotion in them when he hears.

It was the moment where he really starts to believe that the third time's the charm, that Alexandria really is different from Woodbury and Terminus.

Although, for the record, I have slight issue with Woodbury being lumped in with Terminus. Terminus was a lair of cannibalistic psychopaths. Woodbury was not a bad place. In fact, Woodbury could have, and for a while probably was, a really good place, it just had a shady and unstable leader who ended up ruining everything.

Decent episode...I'm glad we're finally in the Safe Zone.

I could care less. There have been gay kissing men on just about every other show I watch now as it is. :p

PTSD can do that to a person. Every other compound they've run into has been a nightmare. Even the hospital was run by damaged people. I think Rick is just burnt out and fried right now. Exposure to some good people should improve his character some. :)

Yeah he was done meeting anybody new that could potentially be harmful to his group. He didn't want to deal with it.

I get that as I didnt trust Aaron either, but punching seemed a bit over the top and unnecessary. He was unarmed and alone and they had the upperhand. Why couldnt he have just tied him up, which they ended up doing anyway? Did he have to knock him out in order to apprehend him? The violence seemed like a d--k move that was unwarranted.

Aaron was going on and on Gareth-style. So yeah, I can see why Rick knocked him out.

Yep. It's not Aaron's fault, but Rick has tried trusting people. And after sick f***s like Gareth, the Governor and Joe's group, can you blame him for his reaction? Aaron very easily could have been setting them up for an ambush. Plus, it doesn't help that Aaron is so clean-cut that he looks like a guy who hasn't experienced the apocalypse at all. I'd be distrustful of him just for that.

Yes, which is what I did:o
