Daryl's "we brought dinner line" cracked me up. I thought the interview scenes with Deanna were pretty good. Kind of crazy to see Andrew Lincoln clean shaven at this point. Daryl still carrying around that possum during his interview. I love the banter between Daryl and Carol. Not a good sign someone found the pistol Rick stashed. Aiden is a *****e loved that Glenn got a punch in. Constables Rick and Michonne! I punched the air and shouted hell yeah when Rick said "we'll take this place".

Clean shaven Rick :hrt:

I'm not used to seeing S1 housewife Carol anymore. :funny:

Overall, it was a really nice episode and I'm assuming it's the set-up for a lot of things that will happen soon.

This is probably one of my favorite episodes of the season, it was really refreshing in just about every way possible.

Everyone who wasn't Daryl showered! Rick shaved! Soooo nice! Though I wonder why Carl didn't go get himself a hair cut, maybe he likes it long?

Carol overplaying her helpless housewife role and downplaying her badass-ness in her "interview" was hilarious.

It's like Rick and Carol superficially reverted back to their season one selves.

who took rick's gun? i'm guessing either the lady or that girl carl was following.

I was kinda hoping Alexandria would be a little more populated. As it is, it seems like the prison had more people at the start of season 4, and this place is bigger than even Woodbury(I assume).

It's supposed to be much larger than Woodbury. I assume they didn't show a lot of people because they wanted the episode to be more mysterious. They'll probably have a ton of background characters like Woodbury that we never get to meet.

Even though I’ve gotten used to that crazy beard I’m glad Rick finally shaved it. It was surreal seeing Rick clean shaven and in uniform again. It was interesting seeing how Rick and Carl readapt to a life they thought would longer exist after the apocalypse.

I have a feeling Daryl will jump ship b/c he doesn’t seem to be digging Alexandria one bit. He reminded me of Kevin Costner’s character in Waterworld once he went to Dryland. Couldn’t help feeling sorry for Daryl b/c he seemed more comfortable living in hostile territory with zombies than in some sort of utopia.

And Carol’s definitely putting on a convincing act for Alexandria.

I got chills off that last line by Rick.

Oh and Alexandra Breckenridge :hrt:

I'm really digging the direction this mid-season's heading.

I feel like the show stalled a little bit because they weren't ready to move on from the Governor entirely(so he disappears at the end of season 3 and shows up half a season later) and also not ready to move on to the Alexandria storyline.

I also wonder if the idea to label the Terminus group the Hunters was a last-minute decision, with the train of thought being that hey, they're a group of cannibals, so close enough.

The Talking Dead mentioned an easter egg, what was it? Chris Hardwick never got around to it.

I think it was supposed to be that the Italian wording on his police patch said "we will rise again" or something...which...I waited 50 minutes for that?

It's hard to believe these people lasted this long with roaming bands of cannibals down the road.

Actually, it's almost impossible.

Down the road? Terminus was near Atlanta, and they're outside Washington DC now. That's hundreds of miles.

I really doubt the Termites are the only cannibals.

It's a zombie genre staple.

But alright, any roving band of armed people who do or do not also eat people.

Great episode all around. Loved Carol playing the old housewife role and it was great seeing Glen and Daryl take out those two pricks. Also, some really great scenes from Rick and Carl here... Lincoln and Riggs really did a great job of showing the toll everything has taken on them. Only one thing bugged me in this episode. RICK, YOU HAVE A KNIFE THE SIZE OF A MACHETE RIGHT THERE WHY ARE YOU USING THAT OTHER LITTLE KNIFE TO KILL ZOMBIES?!!! DO YOU WANT TO GET BIT?!!!

I loved Carol so much tonight. The second she claimed to miss Ed, first I was like "LOLOLOL" and then "Ohhhh. I see what you're doing."

It's so nice to see everyone clean again. I forgot how young and hot Rick looked clean shaven.

Strongest episode so far this season, I thought. Everything is going just like I hope it would from the comics.

The Senators son and the woman's husband gave off serious *****ebag vibes.

Daryl is still in feral Wolverine mode.

Carol was hilarious. Lots of foreshadowing though in Rick's warning about the gates.

Does anyone else, wonder if one of the men Deanna mentioned exiling was Negan?

Whoa I just realized where was Abraham and the priest????

Surely Abraham should be front and center with his personality

We needed an episode like this the last one. The show is amazing but lately I was feeling like it was stuck and wasn't micing forward but after this episode I feel the excitement I had when I was watching season 1.

Cannot wait to see what happens.

I loved the trio interaction at the end. They are the leaders of the group and in this episode it was really apparent in my opinion (it showed that it's not just Rick but all three of them together that lead this group).

Once more they showed how far carol has come and how strong she now is and knows how to survive. The way she reverted to season 1 Carol without a second thought in order to gain these people's trust shows what a strategic mind she has. She is a force to be reckoned with and I am glad we got another chance to see it (loved her in the terminus episode when she rescued everyone!!).

I hope we get more episodes like this one from now on and I do hope they followe the comics !!
