The Dark Knight The weapon of choice - The Joker and his knives

It just looks like a bunch of random kitchen knives. I will have to go back and watch the trailer again, but I don't expect him to be Danny Trejo in Desperado.

I think that if he carries around that many knives he's got to know a trick or two. You know like knife-fu or something. I wouldn't be surprised if I see him handle himself with knives like V did in V for Vendetta. It might be wishful thinking but I can hope. :woot:

I just watched V for Vendetta, weird lol. But Harley's-Man, that knife was used in the trailer when the Joker said "A lil' fight in you...I like that!" I do believe that the Joker should have SOME kind of trick to use them.

He's juggling knives at one point in the trailer. It's likely that he also throws them. Which means we'll get Batman knocking one out of the air with a 'rang.

He certainly can handle them, and that's going to be awesome. Throwing them will be even better! Gives it a real 'demented circus' feel.:hehe:

Anybody remember he used to throw cards in the comics and the animated series, it makes sense to change that to knives... Mythbusters proved you cannot really hurt anyone by throwing cards...

Yeah, but as much as I love Mythbusters, alot of the time those guys are jack*sses who have no idea what they're doing and they do their best to bias the results of their work. I'm not saying that you CAN hurt anyone with a thrown playing card... I'm just saying not to put total faith in those guys. Great show though...

Metal? I guess, And whoever said something about his knives are kitchen knives... anybody remember Bill the Butcher from gangs of New York? He threw kitchen knives... and he rocked... DiCaprio got off easy.

Oh, and the red head on that show is smokin' hot!

... I concur, The red head is hot...

funny you mention bill the butcher because the TDK joker almost reminds me of the supervillain version of bill the butcher...the nasally bronx accent and the psychotic aspect...

Back on subject, I know you can throw everyday kitchen knives, it just takes more skill.

Looks like he's got quite an assortment of knives in his pockets, some kitchen looking gear, some tactical stuff... I think there's even a carpet knife/box cutter on the table in the trailer so...

I think they're just for carving up turkeys. Putting smiles on your face.

He's definitely always been portrayed as an agile kinda guy if not the fighting sort (which is preferable because you don't have all the bulk muscle in the way), but he's definitely crazy enough to be a knife fighter.

i giggled when i first saw that scene...where does he keep them all?

I like how the Joker shakes his hand when he has his knife. You can see this in the trailer right before Batman says "then your going to love me" His hand almost spasms with the knife in hand
