I've been playing the game the last couple of days after dropping it for months. It's still fun and oh so good! Probably my favorite game on the current generation of consoles.
Just finished the DLC for Blood and Wine, bloody fantastic story and missions. CDProjektRed deserve all the praise they get for this game, their DLC is better and lasts longer than some full price games. Simply stunning.
I'm still working my way through my first playthrough, and I'm kinda trying to do every side mission possible before I move onto the next story mission. In regards to the DLC, should I save those for after the main story, or should I do them in between once I'm at the right level to do them?

Blood and Wine may very well be the best piece of DLC ever released.

Impressive.
People have been begging for a lot of their favorite games to come to the Nintendo Switch. Who doesn't want to bring great games like The Witcher 3 with them whereever they go? While we will be getting ports of games like Skyrim, it seems like some developers are less keen on investing in the platform. Some say they simply don't want to get burnt by a console that doesn't sell many units and others have just said it's an underpowered system.
This has lead to some confusion on what can and can't come to Switch due to simply hardware restrictions but there's one team out there trying to get a bunch of games running on the console. Andrew Sampson with the Rainway App team tweeted out several videos today showing games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Nier: Automata running on the Nintendo Switch.

Well I can say for certain its not the techs fault. I'll improve it throughout the day. https://t.co/OrgknfFy6cThere's no word as to when the Rainway app will make its way to Nintendo Switch (if Nintendo even allows it) so stay tuned to GameZone for more info.

Witcher 3 getting 4K Pro patch in a few days!!
http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2017/09/07/the-witcher-3-4k-update-coming-to-ps4-pro-very-soon/
It is incredible. Ima do a 4th playthrough soon.
That's great! Glad I've not been able to play it recently in that case lol. Can't wait to dive back in.
I can't remember if I asked this or ever got an answer. Does anyone know if the GotY edition comes with the DLC all on the disc? Nothing to download? I am thinking of starting it again, and I would a version with everything on the disc.
Sell on values aren't relevant to them though and there is no obligation on them to protect that IMO. If you're planning to sell these games on and are finding that you're getting almost nothing for them you could get them digitally maybe?yeah, I'm curious about this too.
cuz I hate that recent trend, too. where the GOTY/Complete disc is still just the base game with download codes included for the DLC/add-ons.
I especially hate it when it comes time to trade in/resell the game. You spend $50-$60 on the new GOTY/Complete edition. but since the disc is essentially just the base game, when you trade it in, it's only worth like $1-$5. All the add on stuff is basically worthless because they have no resell/trade in value.
to me, that's a new form of cheating the consumer, if you ask me.
and a lot of times, you have NO idea if the GOTY/Complete edition includes everything on disc or if it has codes packed in until AFTER you open up the game. of course, by then, you can't return it for a refund since you opened it already.

Looking it up, it does seem it is all on the disc, confirmed by CDPR themselves.t:
