Dick finally turned to Roy, annoyed.

I get a little ahead of the other two. Hearing them bicker is kind of relieving actually. To know that even during a time of a chaos, two of the bravest people on the face of planet can have a sense of humor, is quite amazing.

Roy ran to where Tim was standing. "Good lets get this cranked up so we can go watch the action."

"I hear ya. Hey, we should get Kyle to morph us up some popcorn, while I'm thinking about it...", Nightwing said, stepping forward with his generator, latching it onto the pipe. Securing it, Nightwing pointed towards the other one.

"Get yours on there and we should be ready to head out."

Roy went to the other main and twisted his antidote generator onto it. He twisted and could hear the sound of running water. "Alrighty guys, lets go veiw the fireworks show, eh?"

I pass over a full hospital, spending a few extra seconds to ensure the nanites are throughly entrenched.

He floated over a packed fallout shelter. Standing room only. He bathed the building in a light green glow, giving it several second to soak in before retracting it.

"And that gives me 75 percent. If you boys want, I can pick up some of your load when I'm done."

Some might have seen this displaying of joking and horsing around as bad taste, especially considering the situation. For Kyle, it was the only way to get through these tragedies without going completely insane.

I float over my section of the city, arms crossed, a very pleased smile on my face.

"It is about time."

 

[Franklin Richards]

"Nice work, Rook. Nice work, Sinestro. Looks like I'm buyin' the first round."

I know he doesn't like it when I call him that. But it sure is fun.

 

[Batman]

"It took the three of you long enough. Especially for such a simple task."

Dick immediatley grew something he hadn't in quite some time: Angry.

"Yeah, criticising us for a job already done is going to do alot of good, Sinestro.", Nightwing responded, his anger apparent in his voice. "Not all of us have your goddamned resources. Some of us have a hard time doing some of your 'simple' tasks. So back the hell off.", He finished.

Nightwing stopped. What the hell was he doing? Sinestro had proven himself to be a hero already, time and time again apparentally. Sure, Sinestro's comment was uncalled for. But so was his.

"I...", He blurted out, before sighing to himself. The situation with Bludhaven was pounding at him more and more by the moments. "I... Sorry. That was uncalled for.", He said, looking away from his teammates in shame.

He was already taking this way too seriously.

Roy turned off his communicator for a second.

"Way to get on Pinky's nerves man... You realize he could vaporize us with a THOUGHT, right? Then again common sense was never your strong suit."

"They're the best Saff." Dinah tilted her head as she heard Roy's voice singing the more than familier Disney song. She shook her head, remembering rainy days watching it.

"If only the Teen Titans back then knew.." she said a smile playing on her face.

"Nothing..just a memory." Dinah said alighting down on the Water Plant and walking through the side door, she spied the boys on the main platform and was silent as Dick snapped back at Sinestro.

Dinah shook her head, normally she'd rake in to him but what right did she have? Everyone was entitled to a breakdown, some more wrongly than others. The memory of Harley Quinns blood on her hands coiled in her mind ready to spring. No, Dick was understandably stressed and to have a powered ex-villain belittle him like that was even more than a man like Dick could handle to some point.
She took a breathe and called across to them in an attempt to lighten the mood.

"I have to agree with Dick on the earplugs Roy, and remind me not to invite you to Karaoke night."
