.....Jesus, that's all we've got left? Well, that just won't stand. I know I've been lazy about the game (and all of the Hype games lately), but I'll be damned if I let this game go down the tubes!

I've chosen Superman because I still maintain he's the greatest hero character ever created, and that there are stories that can be told with him that cannot be done with any other character in any other genre.
And I plan on giving the greatest hero of all time the greatest send-off of all time as well. No more twiddling around, no more sitting in the background while other people post, no more putting it off to post as other characters in other games. It's time to get
damn serious about Supes.

"Lois, I hate to admit this, but.....I'm nervous."
Grodd's attack was a messy one, but eventually it passed, and things have been....I wouldn't say 'back to normal,' but stabilized at least. But there's one piece of unfinished business from the incident, one that has put me off my guard.
"Don't sweat it, Smallville, you'll do fine," my wife says as we look out on the small balcony of our apartment.
"It's not like you haven't faced him a hundred times before already."
"Not like this," I say.
"He knows something's different. He knows about my powers fluctuating, but....it's something else. I don't think he knows about the baby yet, but it's only a matter of time before he finds out."
"Then do what you always do: make him look like an idiot and put him back in jail where he belongs."
"Nothing would make me happier. But I don't think it'll be that simple this time..."
I've caught meteors falling from space with my bare hands.
I've changed the course of rivers and parted oceans.
I've challenged empires and saved entire civilizations.
I've stood up to gods and been to the very edges of reality itself.
But now I have to face something that makes even a Man of Steel begin to shake.
Something more insidious than Grodd's disease....
....more destructive than Doomsday's rampage....
....and more horrifying than staring Darkseid in the face.
I have to sit down and have a heart-to-heart talk....with Lex Luthor.
"Well, I've never been one to back down from a challenge before," I say, giving Lois a kiss before I pull off my glasses and get ready for work.
"Just wish me luck..."
