I've been wanting to post as Hawkman, but...frankly none of us know what's going on now. Sure, I can get him to Nevada but then what?

We may have to take this arc into our own hands since Snapper hasn't posted in like 2 months. Should we discuss how to end this arc? Because I really really really don't want to drop a char in the middle of an arc.

Character you would like to play (please include the color and font you plan on using to portray the character): Carol Ferris (Times New Roman, plum, bold)

Powers and Brief Origin (provide at least two sentences): Haughty and superior, Carol Ferris certainly acted like a b*tch when she was young. No, even as an adult, she still acts like one. But despite all this, she was caring and compassionate. This showed in the love for her father and his employees-- when she stopped being so catty. In her younger days, Carol met a young boy named Hal Jordan, the son of Martin Jordan who was one of her father’s best friends and employees. She was there on the day Hal watched his father die. Since she was little, she always wanted to fly the open skies of the world and become a pilot. However, she was forced to take over Ferris Air when her father fell ill. She was Hal’s boss when he worked for her company, and at times this type of relationship would cause great friction between the two of them.

During a test flight, Hal and his jet mysterious disappeared. Upon his immediate return, Carol questioned him, but someone interfered through mental connections, that someone being Hector Hammond-- transformed by alien radiation to possess telekinesis. Their lives in grave danger, a green light came forth from nowhere and blasted Hector away in order to save them. After Hector was rendered unconscious, Carol turned to Hal-- only to not find him anywhere. Something strange was going on... Over the years, she has learned that Hal was a Green Lantern, and since then the two fell in love and married. Together, they gave birth to their baby boy named Martin-- after Hal's father.

Also throughout the years, however, Carol has been the prime target of a violet ring. A ring that possesses the power of the Star Sapphire...

Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?): I am a brand new fan of the Green Lantern series written by Geoff Johns and mainly drawn by Ivan Reis. With great help from Keyser Soze (he bought me Secret Origins, Rebirth, Wanted: Hal Jordan and Sins of the Star Sapphire; I bought myself GL #43, GL Blackest Night #1, and GL #44), I have decided to return to the Superhero Hype RPG boards as Carol Ferris under World of Heroes. I've heard that she isn't played much except as an NPC, and with my return to the boards, I hope to change that forever. Carol Ferris has easily become one of my favorite characters in the Green Lantern series, so much that I cosplayed as her in formal wear during Comic-Con 2009. Keyser and I were matching; it was fun! Allow me to bring forth the power of love and you won't regret it.

My name is Carol Ferris. I am the owner of Ferris Air, Hal Jordan&#8217;s wife, and Martin Jordan&#8217;s mother.

I know what you're thinking. Living a normal life in the middle of diabolical chaos seems intense, but I'm not afraid of the dangers. I cannot show fear to my enemies. If that were to ever happen, darkness would consume my heart, and I cannot allow that. I have too much to do, especially for my son. He needs me. He also needs his father, but...

Oh Hal...

... I suppose it can't be helped when your husband happens to be a super hero under the Green Lantern Corps. At least he visits us whenever he has the time. The last time he dropped by the house, however, was to warn us about Hector Hammond. Hmph. So one of my former employees is still out there, searching... waiting... but I will not give him what he wants. We will not give him what he wants. I don't care how many powers he has in his arsenal. I fear no one.

No one. . .

With a smile to suppress my emotional adrenaline, I gently lifted Martin out of his crib and into my arms, then we left his room to enter the kitchen. He cooed and giggled, softly saying "Ma" and reaching out to cup his hands on my face. My smile widened as I leaned in to kiss the top of his brown head of hair, stopping before his baby seat and carefully adjusting him onto it. Once secure, I circled around the table, stopped before the refrigerator and opened it. I took a fresh, unopened can of Motts apple sauce, closed it and grabbed a small Mickey Mouse spoon as I passed by the dish tray. Before I reached my son, my cell phone went off and I sighed. I wish I could turn it off and keep it off for just one day. Almost aggressively, I answer it. "This better be good."

"I-I'm sorry to bother you, Mrs. Jordan, but I need your help."

"I can't help you in person right now, I'm taking care of my son," I started, holding back the urge to raise my voice too much, especially in the presence of my son. While I held the cell phone between my right cheek and shoulder, I opened up the apple sauce, took a small spoonful and started to wave it around carefully in front of Martin. He started to giggle and created a saliva bubble with his mouth. No matter what I was feeling, he always made me feel better. I loved him so much... "Here comes the airplane! Vroooooom!"


"What airplane?"


"I'm not talking to you, idiot. I'm talking to my son..."

Sorry about not posting as Superman so long. If it's any consolation, he just got pulled into the prize-fight of the century inside of the very boundaries of all existence. Hope that makes up for it!
