Also, sumowrestler, I don't mean to nitpick (actually I do, but I just want to be polite about it), but in Justice League #1 Hal pretty clearly states that the Guardians didn't recognize Apokoliptian technology, meaning they wouldn't know anything about Darkseid. Although I guess we could say that since the current JL arc is set in the past, the Guardians have added data about the New Gods into the Book of Oa.

Andy, I don't mind the nitpicking because I lack access to the DCnU at this current moment. As far as I knew, the GL side didn't change at all even though the mess of Final Crisis may\may not been kicked out. I'm lucky to have read what I have of the GL related issues so far especially with the mess of Jordan being Sinestro's puppet\lap dog. I'm just waiting for Jordan to get a real green ring so he can slap Sinestro up one side and down the other.

The approach I'm taking is, "Everything that happened, happened, but with enough of a degree of seperation that it's in the past." For example, I might have Batman refer in passing to that whole Court of Owls business as if it was something that happened a little while back, but I don't need to act like I'm still in the midst of the current comic storyline.

Well, here it is... I hope it's cool that I'm picking up where TT #1 leaves of, since I decided against picking up the 2nd issue as I felt the first gave me enough inspiration to apply for this character (not for the reasons that you think, as I also felt as a book it was lacking.)

Brief Origin (provide at least two sentences)If you copy/paste this information from another website, link back to it, or it is considered plagiarism, it will not be allowed: : Timothy Drake-Wayne is the third young man to take on the mantle of Robin, the Boy Wonder, after having deduced Batman and the original Robin's identities as Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson. However, upon Bruce Wayne's recent, alleged "death", Tim, believing that his adopted father was in fact not dead, but rather missing, he forged his own identity as Red Robin, and began his search for Batman. Now, with Batman back from the dead, Tim has continued to use the Red Robin identity as his primary crime-fighting persona, his former mantle of Robin having been taken up by Bruce's biological son, Damian Wayne.

Since Tim's return to Gotham, it seems someone, or something, has begun to target teenaged and superheroes and metahumans, including him. Now, Tim being the prodigal detective that he is, is aware of this, and has decided to take action. His plan? To gather a team of said targeted teen heroes to form a new iteration of the legendary superteam: The Teen Titans.

Explain what you plan to do with the character you've chosen and why you've chosen this character: Well, my initial choice for a character to play in this new DC RPG was Dick Grayson/Nightwing, but recently there was a really bad snowstorm in my area that's caused MASSIVE power outages, rendering me with no internet [or power or food for that matter, but that's neither here nor there] so I could not post the application for Dick I had already completed before the role was given to Sensei in that time I was without a connection. BUT, I did find new inspiration in the form of Red Robin and the prospect of spearheading this new game's version of the Teen Titans. So all was not lost. Not to mention, Tim Drake is a character I wanted to play the last time around right around Season 6/7 or so this maybe my chance to try my hand at portraying him. As for what I plan to do, I plan to take what Lobdell is trying (and somewhat failing) to execute with the Teen Titans mythos in it's New 52 line and put my own spin on it.

I didn't want to be dragged back into this world... but here I am. With no choice but to don a costume and mask once more to fight back. It's why I find myself back here, in the cave of my former mentor, hacking into the database of the organization that has taken it upon themselves to start a war. One that I cannot possibly win alone.

I've managed so far to recruit the thief Cassie Sandsmark to my cause, but I'm going to need a full team if I'm going to put an end to N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and their scheme to capture every young meta or vigilante on Earth and form their own personal army.

"It is good to see you home again, Master Timothy."

Not taking my eyes off the screen of the Batcomputer as I continued to type furiously, Alfred had just arrived with a platter of food. Standard practice for him, by now.

"Not for long, Alfred."

"I take it you have yet to reconcile with Master Bruce..."

I didn't respond. The silence was enough to answer his question. I had just finished decrypting and uploading the data I was able to recover into my gauntlet computer as I stood up from my seat.

"Please do have a small snack before you take off, Master Timothy. I do not want you to be malnourished as you partake in the usual gallivanting across rooftops..."

"Miss you too, Alfred. Don't wait up for me." I joked as I grabbed hold of the ends of my cape and sent a small jolt of electricity from each hand that made my cape take form of rigid wings. From there I jumped off of the platform and began my flight through the caverns of the Batcave...

Bart Allen a.k.a. Kid Flash. Is able to run at superhuman speeds and has a hyper-accelerated metabolism. And if this list of metahumans I managed to copy and download from a N.O.W.H.E.R.E. database I was able to hack into serves me right, he's their next target.

Next stop: Keystone City...

I'm not sure how byrd wants to handle this since it was a decided that previous TT cannon was intact. Being like the only thing about the DCnU everyone hated and didn't want affecting this RPG.

Well, as long as he knows that the Teen Titans have existed in other forms and writes according to that little caveat, then I see no real problem.

In the new TT comics, it reveals that previous teams have existed, but it is the first time that Bart Allen, Superboy, Wondergirl, and Tim Drake have encountered one another.

I'd say that conflicts with the past 10 or so years of TT history. So I don't know what to make out of your comment.

You are still forgetting the fact that the current storyline that BL is playing off from is Tim finding these heroes for the first time...

I'm not being a continuity freak. I'm trying to get a grasp on what we are doing with TT. It's one or the other. Trying to make our own amalgam makes it harder for future players to apply. :/

EDIT: It's even partially why Bounce hasn't applied. And he isn't even a new player.

I say if he wants this to be the start of Tim's Titans, and the previous incarnations were Dick's Titans, that fine. This is a reboot, after all. Just be clear about it.

That's how I intended it to be. Dick's Titans were referenced in Hood and the Outlaws, and in the first issue of TT it appeared that Cassie and Tim haven't met prior to teaming up, no to mention Connor was just created recently so it's impossible for them to know him. Meaning their time on YJ must have been erased from the DCnU timeline.

So yeah, this new team of Titans is going to be Dick's team's successor and the members of the new team have not met before now.

I must say, your Black Alice posts are continuing the proud trusty-tradition of applying for a character I really, really don't know much about and then making me invested as all hell.

After centuries of fighting a lone war Frankenstein would be recruited by S.H.A.D.E. Led by Father Time, who currently taking the form of a Japanese school girl with a domino mask, they are joined by his ex, the Bride, and a host of other monsters to battle entities that wish to take apart this world, time, and reality.

Then a title came to my head, a riff on a Peckinpah movie, Bring Me the Head of Solomon Grundy and I'm going down the path of hardcore action, up-to-11, unbridled weirdness monster killing. Of course Father Time is not too keen on the superhero element. Especially seeing his budget cuts so dramatically after the superheroes appear on the screen so beside monster hunting that conflict will be on the table.

The sky was unusually dark for a summer day. In fact it looked like if most of space had just vanished. The ocean tossed and turned as the dead of every ship wrecked decided to wake up and waltz out.

Above a single black helicopter floated over the suspected spot of the rise of the great old one. Inside, the Bride's four hands move at a quick pace on the ray gun. One dropped in plasma grenades, another check the clip with bullets laced with angel feathers.

"Leave it to S.H.A.D.E to make a holy laser. Are you ready?" The bride turned to the hulking giant beside her.

"He better be," barked a console, "we only get one shot at this or else the world is going to be one giant all-you-can-eat buffet. And I got plans for the weekend."

Below tentacles pierced the surface of the ocean. The elder it rises. Ragnarok has begun.

"Angel cry, demons curse, the Earth dies screaming," he unseathes his sword, "but Frankenstein takes action." He leaps from the copter sword pointing down at the mighty lord of the void.

"Damn it all," the Bride lets loose a volley of golden bullets.

"Frank, you good for nothing...I didn't spend a budget the size of China to develop a holy arsenal for nothing!"

"You crude simulacra can not harm the beast and I have not yet met a foe that has not fallen to the sword of Frankenstein!" The sword pierces one of the beast's eyes and it lets out a scream It's head shakes back and forth, going under the waters taking Frank with him.

The sky clears up as if nothing has happen. Father Time has ceased his hour long scream directed at the bride as a massive hand grabs the side of S.H.A.D.E's makeshift ocean base. Frankenstein pulls himself onto land.

"Rrr, the rapture is cancelled. I must slumber."

YES....Goodness, yes. One of the best titles of the New 52 and you are one of the best candidates for this type of ordeal. Glad to have you back, Watchman.
