I'm writing a post right now that will follow the opening of the IC thread. An event that takes place that anyone could partake in and react too if they feel like they want to, similar to the superhero bounty arc that kicked off the Marvel RPG's reboot a few years back.

So, I'm just posting to let you guys know that I plan on applying for Red Robin, but I have no internet (Really bad snowstorm. MASSIVE power outages), so the app'll be up when I get it back sometime next week. I just hope he's not taken by then. I already lost out on Dick it seems.

I know how I can make the rosters easier for me to edit, and I was going to make the design different in some ways...it just means it will take me longer to develop the multiple templates and layers before the first edition of the roster is published. Today I'm going to my LCS after work for their sale, and hopefully before practice later this evening I can get the new template started.

Byrd and I agreed, if I slack off, then he would edit the roster by replacing it with a list roster. And when I update the picture roster, I could then replace it. So it's a better checks and balances compared to previous games.

I appreciate those who have offered to help me in keeping the rosters up to date. However seeing as it has always been my baby as no one attempted to do picture rosters before I tried it with DC--and at one point did it for all games except for Marvel I believe--I really do wish to do it for DC as it has always been my favorite RPG and a task I've enjoyed as an AGM.

Character you would like to play: John Stewart, Green Lantern (sea green)

Brief Origin (provide at least two sentences): John Stewart started out as a marine right after high school. He then went to college with the help from Uncle Sam and graduated with a degree in architecture. As he worked in the field, he was selected as originally a backup to Hal Jordan of the Green Lantern Corps but soon proved himself to be more then just a backup. Through out his career as a Green Lantern, John distinguished himself time and time again. There are a couple big blemishes on his record though with blowing up two planets, Xanshi and Mogo with Mogo being one of his brethren Lanterns. The latter was a casualty of war during the Civil War among the Lanterns. It came down to eliminating Mogo before he found unsuitable and very violent bearers for the rings and he didn’t have time to find an alternative. Now he struggles to find his place on Earth in a normal civilian role and feels more comfortable on Oa or out in space.

Group your character is aligned with (if applicable): GLC

Explain what you plan to do with the character you've chosen and why you've chosen this character: First of all, John seems to be one of the least screwed up GLC members in the new 52 so far. As what I’ll do with him, he will try to figure out what to do with the GLC and his role on Earth if there is one.

“What have we gotten ourselves into now? The GLC is going to need majorly reworked and Earth is at least in one piece for now but that can surely change very shortly.”


Salaak walks up to Lantern Stewart and puts one of his hands on his shoulder which is a bit abnormal for the senior Lantern.

“You and your fellow Earth Lanterns will do what you’ve always done; try to make the best of things on your planet. The Guardians probably will be watching former Lantern Jordan to make sure he doesn’t do anything too bad and keeping an eye on Sinestro as well. I do wonder about that idea if it will actually work out having one of our most hated enemies being one of us once again. A few of us do remember what it was like before Sinestro turned on the Corps but not many.”

“So you saying keep an eye on the former master of fear? I think that he would be better behind a science cell again even if he did help out in the Blackest Night. I wonder if that thing would have started if he never started his own Corps.’

“Hard to say one way or the other but can’t change what has been but only save what we do have and prepare for what has yet to begun. I’ll continue to do my job here as you and Gardner along with Kyle will do yours in your sector.”

“I guess you are right, Salaak, but it may be a long while before things truly settle down here. So much had happen in such short time that maybe time on Earth will do me well. So long and do keep in touch.”

Lantern Stewart flies off back towards Earth without looking back at Salaak.

Funny how the Green Lanterns shoosen were the back ups of Hal Jordan ad nobody seems to want to pick him

Because currently Jordan is Sinestro's lap dog and not by choice since Sinestro created the temp ring for Jordan. Kyle is dealing with the New Guardian bit and I thought about him but waiting to see what they do with the current arc.
