As I've been planning to after getting him past the stuff in San Diego, I'm dropping The Flash. I liked writing the character, but my overall interest wasn't as strong as I thought it'd be once I really delved into it. I left him in a position for anyone to freely pick up and carry on with his adventures, so there should be no problem there.

I'll probably pick up someone else, but it'll have to be someone that I'm absolutely sure I can post as. Don't want Byrd after me with that cattle prod again.

I appreciate it MB. I think I figured it out, at least partially. I've administered a vBulletin board before and haven't seen this particular bug though.

When I created the Bounce account, there appears to have been a hiccup and it created not one, but two accounts of the same name.

Up until yesterday, I've been logging in and posting as User 85388 (as can be seen if you look at my posts in UDC or World's Finest). I know they did some work on the database this past weekend, that somehow resulted in my being switched over to User #85387 (which is this account). And now I can't log-in as any other Bounce than this account. I even tried changing the password for this account to see if that would work to trick the system and I'd be able to log-in as the 85388 Bounce but no dice.

There's a merge user function in the vBulletin AdminCP, but if memory serves it functions off of user name and not user ID so that probably wouldn't work because both accounts are named Bounce.

I wonder if 85387 was deleted whether it would also delete 85388?

Ironically, the PM that I just got from 2010 was a note from Drakon advising me to just create a new account.

For the record, I still blame the goat. That voodoo *****.

I've alerted the other mods, and while there aren't any admins online right now, your accounts should be able to be merged whenever an admin sees my message sometime later today. At least I jope hey can. I made specific instructions to ensure that your postcount, avvy, sig, ect. all remains intact from your main account whenever this happens, so one way or another, I'm going to make sure you get everything back.
