- There was some major heat this past week between WWE and the UK’s Fighting Spirit Magazine. The magazine printed a memo sent out by WWE to members of the video game media that’s covering the SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 video game.

In the memo, WWE said that the press could not use any screenshots of Superstars bleeding or weapons being used. Also, the Superstars have to be called that and can’t be referred to as “wrestlers.”

But here’s the kicker. The memo from WWE also stated that no screenshots are allowed of Triple H “in a defenseless or vulnerable position.” I don’t even have to say how insane this is and how ridiculous the measures WWE are taking to protect Triple H’s image. WWE was furious that the memo was published and that the magazine published a screenshot of a character that looked like Triple H, with synthol filled pecs and welts on his back with Kane standing over him.

Wow. Is Big Trips' image that important? :whatever:

Matt seems extraordinarily happy. Good for him.

The image protection blurb is ridiculous. Wait until Batista gets wind of the fact that he wasn't covered on the memo. Yeesh.

These images from IGN.COM beg to differ

Well it's a relief that Jeff isn't in any kind of trouble and it just turned into an overblown story by a dirtsheet site with nothing better to do. It's sad because you had people like myself and other fans here who were concerned, upset, and disappointed that Jeff may've blown his chances again.

It's dirtsheets sites like those that need to be shut down and sued for a lot of the news they report. Yeah some news is credible and deserves to be heard. But for them to actually add on to the story that Jeff's girlfriend was detained, Jeff was detained, and so forth just seems very slanderous and wrong in my opinion.

But so far we haven't heard anything out of the ordinary so all seems well which is a great thing.

Whoever made that video has to be joking. There's no way anyone could make a video like that with a straight face and be taken seriously. I was thinking how much I'd like to see Regal and Kozlov have a feud.

Their styles are very similar and they both have a stiff approach. Regal being the pure mat based wrestler and Kozlov being the strength, quick, and brawler type would make for an interesting match between the two.

Brother Ray called into the BS Show yesterday that airs on Real Radio 104.1 in Orlando, Florida while independent wrestler J-Roc was on the show discussing the Jake Roberts' incident that took place over the weekend.

A quick aside to get you caught up, J-Roc was the wrestler that came to the ring after Jake Roberts' had the horrible match with JT Lightning due to being extremely intoxicated (or drugged as Roberts claims). After the awkward match where JT basically had to "shoot" pin Jake and then cut a "***** You Jake" promo, J-Roc came to the ring to try and get Roberts to DDT him. I believe he was looking to salvage the situation, but Jake refused to sell or do anything and simply rested on the corner until J-Roc finally exited the ring.

Apparently, Brother Ray thought that J-Roc and other wrestlers came out to legitimately shoot on Jake and hurt him. If you watch the video of the incident, you clearly see J-Roc working Jake and not trying to actually hurt him.

Brother Ray calls into the show and goes off on J-Roc for disrespecting a veteran. He said the guy working the match had every right to be upset, but you don't come out afterward and try and take advantage of Jake Roberts when he's down. He clearly has his story messed up as this didn't even happen.

When the host of the show asked for J-Roc's response, he tried to explain that he wasn't trying to take advantage of Jake. He was simply trying to make a bad situation better by doing what he was asked to do. It was obviously written into the script for him to go out and take a DDT from Jake. Unfortunately, his audio wasn't loud enough and Brother Ray couldn't hear him explain himself.

This leads to Brother Ray saying that if other veterans were there (I'm assuming him being one of them), they would march to the ring and "kill everyone and their mother". Although Ray does say it was wrong for Jake to get messed up the way he did, the promotion owes him an apology for what they tried to do after the match.

Interesting moment of radio though and for those wanting to listen, you can do so by clicking HERE.

I don't know which is more ridiculous, the thing about not showing Triple H getting hurt or the fact that they don't want their wrestlers to be called "wrestlers".

Notice how they're all heels?... Maybe I'm mistaken, but I think he's marking off "Heels" as "Worst Wrestlers" because of their... "heel"iness?!... I don't know, all that I know is that, that kid surely has no taste in music.

The Tennessean.com is reporting that Jeff Hardy was denied boarding on his flight home to North Carolina yesterday because he "appeared intoxicated at Nashville International Airport's Southwest gate" according to Southwest Airlines spokesman Chris Mainz. After his alleged intoxication was reported, Southwest denied his entry on the flight.

Hardy was not arrested and instead offered to take a later flight. He did not cause a scene at the airport.

Intoxicated? Perhaps he was just tired? But in any event this shouldn't affect his push if that's the case. He didn't cause scene and at least it wasn't drug related which we all feared was the case. In any event I am glad this turned out to be the situation at hand.

Can you really not let someone board a plane because you think they look drunk?

TNA is the only organization that would put up with Kevin Nash's BS.

Am I the only one who thinks it's sad Carlito made it in the top 100, let alone just barely over 50? Not saying the list is inaccurate, but what has Carlito done this year to deserve to be on any top wrestler list other than being employed by WWE.

I guess being off TV for a few months and showing less enthusiasm than a fat kid in a health food store can't compete with switching your 'fro to cornrows and back to a 'fro again.
