Trish won't be back until the next time the WWE is in Toronto.

Why is it anyone who boos Cena is an idiot Hunter? Could it be that some of them just don't care for him? And where was RAW broadcasted tonight?

B/c tonight was not about ZOMG workrate! it was a frigging angle about Santa Claus with a one off special guest, it was meant to be light fun, yet they trash the guy in a festive fun match, to me that is idiotic.

Well, I completely marked when I saw Trish. Was, and still is, my favorite Diva. Period. And rockin' the really dirty blonde hair.

Also, fantastic Jericho/Punk match. Like HBK/Morrison, this is a fued that I would love to have at Wrestlemania, specifically for a World Title. I know it won't happen, but man I can dream.

And while I love Punk, him losing clean to Jericho isn't a big deal. Jericho has busted men like Shawn Michaels down to the most animalistic level, and won against the brute Batista in a steel cage. Punk is still over, and due to his relative size, they need to book Jericho as a formidable opponent, not the suit wearing ninny like before with Big Dave and John CHena.:D

World Wrestling Entertainment's plans for Wrestlemania were thrown out the window with word that Dave Batista, who was in the running for the Raw side of the Mania main event, has gone down to a torn hamstring.

Batista is expected to miss several months and will be undergoing surgery shortly, according to several sources within the company. The Randy Orton punt kick to the head last week was the storyline reason for Batista's disappearance from the company.

There's no word whether the company will acknowledge the legitimate reason for Batista's absence or will just put the heat on Randy Orton.

Batista's hamstring began giving him problems during the most recent European tour and has worsened since. This would be Batista's third major muscle tear, as he's had previous tears to the lat muscles in his back as and his triceps in 2006.

Word within the company is that as of now, they aren't expecting Batista back until June at the earliest, with a worse case scenario being August, so all Wrestlemania plans involving him are out the window for now. That certainly puts momentum towards Cena defending the World title against Randy Orton at the company's flagship PPV.

^^ sounds fishy to me since Orton is most likely gonna face Cena at the Rumble and Batista was moving fine in the match last week before the punt.

Well that certainly sucks for Batista! There's been too many injuries...

Where does the case stand?

The AM Law Daily has the latest details on the lawsuit between WWE and Scott Levy, Chris "Kanyon" Klucsartis and Mike Sanders.

WWE filed a motion today, once again asking for a full dismissal of the lawsuit. Along with the motion, WWE's legal team provided 89-pages of motions and judgments from other cases of a similar nature. The WWE claims the following:

"The wrestlers' contract explicitly says they are "independent contractors" who are not entitled to health coverage and other benefits, and that no claims the wrestlers make can trump those contracts. The Plaintiffs cannot escape the clear language of the Booking Contracts."

Levy, Kanyon and Sanders are claiming the following:

"The standard WWE contract is unfair, since the company demands full-time services akin to what employees provide, including extensive travel and a commitment to a huge number of shows and non-televised appearances. "

The Jerry McDevitt led WWE legal team is also stating that, "Claims are barred by a statute of limitations, since the wrestlers signed the initial deals more than six years ago."

Both sides now wait on the judge to see if he will grant a full dismissal as asked by the WWE side.

- According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latest revival of American Gladiators is considered cancelled by NBC.

All of the action from tonight’s tapings!

DARK MATCH:
- Kizarny beat Zack Ryder

WWE SMACKDOWN:
- The seats on the hard camera side are empty.

- The show opened with a US Title match. Shelton Benjamin beat Hurricane Helms in an awesome match.

- Jeff Hardy cut a promo saying how he is going to beat The Big Show. It was pretty intense.

- HHH wanted Vladimir Kozlov. Chavo Guerrero came out and said that if HHH interfered in another Kozlov match he would be out of the Royal Rumble and thus would lose any more title shots. Vickie Guerrero came out and ordered a Chavo vs. HHH match. HHH beat Chavo.

- Carlito, with Primo and the Bella Twins, beat The Brian Kendrick, with Ezekiel. Nothing special.

- They did a video package for Umaga, who appears to finally be returning.

- Edge talked with Vickie about Jeff Hardy, saying how he hates them. Big Show walked in and said he will be beat Jeff. Vickie said that if he does, he will get a title shot. Edge is ticked off.

- Maria is the special guest ref as Maryse beats Michelle McCool for the title. Maryse took the belt and walked off with it. Michelle turned to Maria and beat the tar out of her. Maryse is smoking and no one cared about Michelle.

- The Great Khali beat MVP. Ugh. Khali has new music and is super over. MVP is a pure jobber now. Thank God, no Kiss Cam.

- Mr. Kennedy came out while MVP was still laid out on the mat. He did a promo to plug his direct to DVD movie. This was so bad.

- Kizarny is set to debut on Smackdown next week!

- Kozlov destroyed Jimmy Wang Yang.

- Jeff Hardy beat Big Show by count out in a pretty good match. Matt and Jeff celebrated together on the ramp to end the show.

False news to throw people off the predictable story?

Anyone think that Triple H wins the Rumble and decides to challenge Cena instead of Jeff?

Could but there's nothing special about them facing each other anymore.

Cena/Michaels IV maybe?

I'd wish for Punk/Cena, but he's moving in a different direction, unless he loses to Regal and wins the Rumble.

Could be but I hope not, I never like to see someone injured but It would be hypocritical too say I wasn't sick of his never ending title chase and am glad Raw has a shot at a different ME for WM25..........having said that Ive got no interest in another Cena/Orton match.

:csad:

It wouldn't have been bad if they had just canned the corn.

Good move with no interference in the Show/Hardy match up. But damn, I do wish they'd give Kendrick something else to do. A promo now and then would make me happy.

I think Orton wins the Rumble anyways, although Michaels winning The Royal Rumble would be great.

With Taker's career near an end, I would like to see him face Orton and have Orton end the streak, adding to his "legend killer" status. Make it a no DQ match, so that The Legacy can interfere.

He's in the dog house for over a dozen Marijuana busts.

It was awful when they added the extra gladiators. Should have kept it at Wolf, Justice, Siren, Venom, Crush, Titan, Toa and Militia. Phoenix and Jet should have been the only ones they kept out of the new ones.

In a perfect world, I would have Cena vs. Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship, but that probably won't happen. Punk may be in the Money in the Bank match again.

I knew galdiators was gonna shut down once they started forcing people to watch the extra events online only. At that point, I just stopped watching.

When you examine RAW's main-event choices, there isn't anyone Cena hasn't faced except Rey and Punk, the former's stuck in a feud with Mike Knox, the latter in the IC title division.

Agreed on both accounts.

Since there are probably no plans to do anything but keep Cena as champ through WM25, I wouldn't rule out them doing some sort of lame multi man match.

Wouldn't want to see Mysterio headline WM.

They could always go the WM6 route and have it title vs title if Punk is the IC champ at the time.

Well, since Jeff is the WWE Champion, I guess it wasn't a mistake for him to be drafted over there after all. I sense though that once his run as WWE Champion is over, Jeff may go back to Raw. As a main eventer, who does he face on Smackdown besides Edge and Triple H? Big Show? Maybe. Undertaker? Again, maybe. I liked their Extreme Rules match. I think he would have stayed on Raw if he did not screw up prior to Wrestlemania 24.

I want to see Jeff Hardy vs. John Cena someday. I believe they faced each other once. A Hardy-Cena feud would be the perfect feud to turn John heel.

Punk win the IC title and Royal Rumble? Would be good.
