-- Mike Mooneyham has an interview with ECW Champion Matt Hardy today. He believes brother Jeff will soon receive a title run. "I think WWE will pull the trigger on him. I hope they do because it's something he totally deserves," Hardy said. "He's sacrificed his body and everything he has for the professional wrestling/sports entertainment business through WWE. I think it'll happen sooner rather than later. Jeff has really grown up and matured a lot inside." Matt also said he has no worries for his brother. "I think these days Jeff gets a bad rap for some of these things, because Jeff is really good and he's in a great place in his life," Hardy said. "There was a time, if you go back to 2003, had you asked me if I was worried about Jeff, I would have told you that I really was worried about Jeff. Now I have zero worries about him." Matt also said he's not worry when Jeff takes high risks in the ring. "It's no big deal for him to take some kind of huge risk, and he really doesn't worry about the consequences," Matt said. "Sometimes in life that's how it is. It's hard for him to live in a system to a degree. But Jeff is actually doing real well right now." He also commented on his former girlfriend Amy "Lita" Dumas, saying they maintain an amicable relationship. "She's doing okay. I talk to her every so often," Hardy said. "We're friendly and get along. It's all good. You can't sit back and hold on to something forever. It's bad on you. It's going to affect you going forward." {Matt Hardy enjoying run as ECW champ}

-- WWE legend "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase will be the first wresting star from the past to take part in Howard Finkel's live blog on the WWE Universe site. Finkel wrote: "Well as promised, our first guest for my new live blog has been confirmed! I'm delighted to announce that WWE Legend "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase will enter "The Finkel Factor". It debuts on Thursday, December 18, taking place from 7-8 PM (ET). Changing a familiar phrase around a tad, I would believe that "everybody has a question for the Million Dollar Man". And you will have the opportunity to do just that with one of the all-time greats in less than two weeks' time. Please join us." {First Guest Confirmed For "The Factor"!!!}

-- WWE.com has a poll asking fans who they would choose to receive the Slammy Award for Superstar of the Year tomorrow night on Raw. It's a pretty close race as Batista, John Cena and Triple H are within percentage points of each other. However, Batista is currently winning the poll with a 24.90% share to Triple H's 22.76%. Cena trails behind with 20.88%. Jeff Hardy, Edge and Chris Jericho trail behind Cena.

Nice to see Matt and Lita having a good relationship after all that went down.

So does anyone think they'll put the title on Jeff soon? I know there is a degree of worry when it comes to how reliable he can be. He's one strike away from a mandatory release and that's what causes me to fear for him.

There are some days where I wake up and I'm sometimes expecting to read the headlines "Jeff Hardy violated WWE's Wellness Policy".

My prediction has been that Jeff is going to win Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania. I dont think he holds the title before that.

I don't understand this angle at all with MVP

Wasn't he supposed to be the next Rock in some peoples eyes? Someone who was brash, good on the mic, had attitude, was going to be a main eventer someday?

Anybody want to set the line as to how many he'll lose before he finally wins?

I haven't watched SD in 2 months or so, but I basically understand the deal with MVP's story. My guess is it's going to go the usual route, the writers are going to lose interest with MVP and the story will fizzle out after MVP eventually takes a little vacation time off or something. Sometimes it seems like they just pitch the intro to the idea and have no real direction, just making it up as they go along.

I think there's a problem with heels in general in WWE atm tho. It seems that all of them HAVE to be sneaky heels (Jericho, Edge, Orton) who cheat, or steal wins to win anymore, the only ones who don't seem to be are the monsters (Henry, Kane).

Agreed Fading

I think Orton has gotten some cool clean wins, they just seem to come out of left field a lot lately. He'll be getting beat then RKO out of nowhere and he wins.

Edge and Jericho though, thats a whole different story. I understand Edge's character is kinda built in the whole "Ultimate opportunist" way but then i dont agree with having multiple heels that way. Just one is fine. And even if your going to go that route have him eventually win clean maybe to even his own surprise.

Agreed, Orton can get clean wins. The main reason I listed him as sneaky is because he's not attacking head on as much anymore. Rhodes is doing a bit more of Orton's work (which is mainly for Rhodes benefit in being built up). Edge and Jericho fit that term much better tho.

It's Jericho that I'm mainly dissapointed in. He was having such a good fued with HBK, he was a hell, but not afraid in the least to get in HBK's face and go back and forth. The second the fued was over he suddenly became an opportunistic chicken. I saw a flash of the HBK fued Jericho when he beat Batista for the belt, but that's about it. You could almost see the division where Jericho and HBK's own ideas they pitched for their fued ended, and where the WWE writers started writing Jericho's character again.

I like the more ruthless heel in Jericho as well. Hoping he continues that in the feud with Cena and the rumored feud with Rey. I hope Rey and Jericho get more free room to come up with their own spots in matches and what not as well.

I'm really wondering who will be in Money in the Bank at mania. You think they'd expand it beyond 6 guys? Maybe a few singles matches we dont know will happen?

Im also happy with the Ruthless Jericho we've gotten but unfortunately it feels like anytime someone gets into a feud with Cena they become cowardly. Same happen to Orton last year when for months he was punting peoples heads off then suddenly he was busy picking on "Mr. Cena" (Cenas dad).

As far as the MITB match goes they started the first 2 years with 6 people then in 2007 they had 8 people and would of had 8 again this year but Jeff Hardy got suspended and WWE never replaced him. So my guess is they'll go with 8 like they seem to want to do from now on. And as much as Id love to have Jericho Vs. Mysterio at mania Id imagine they'd just be thrown in the MITB match as throwaways as usual unfortunately. Heck I wonder what the odds are Shelton Benjamin will be in the match this coming mania

Yeah i think if certain wrestlers have titles they will NOT be in the money in the bank. They might but i dont know how WWE is going to handle it. Benjamin has the US title, Matt Hardy with the ECW, a lot of us assume CM Punk will get the IC title soon...

Obviously a lot of time between now and Mania so it will be interesting to see how it happens. I kinda hate when they throw guys like Kane into a ladder match though. Has never been my thing to put big guys in a ladder match.

Benjamin has been IC champ 2 of the 3 times hes been in the MITB so being a mid card champ doesnt really do much there. Hell the IC title hasnt been defended at Mania since 2002 if Im right when RVD beat Regal for it.

I really loved how after Survivor Series youd have an idea of whats to come at mania but now things seem to change in the last month or so and not always for the better.

I think this year has been pretty predictable as to what is going to happen at Mania. I know some people think Edge vs Hardy might happen but i think its going to stack up:

Batista vs Cena

Triple H vs Edge

Taker vs HBK

as the main matches.

Anybody want to set the line as to how many he'll lose before he finally wins? I'd tune in to watch if they started bringing back old wrestlers you haven't heard from in a while to beat him, Goldust, Doink, Pipper, Sgt Slaughter, Mae Young, etc.

I mean if your going to make the guy look bad, you might as well have fun with it right?

That actually would be a bit worse, IMO. Beaten by wrestlers pass their prime.

MVP was considered the next Rock. It could happen, but apparently he has some backstage issues, which is the reason for losing streak. Needs to wrap up soon. For some reason, I'm sensing a gimmick repackaging.

-- Since her departure from World Wrestling Entertainment this past spring, Jeff Jarrett has pitched ideas to former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson in hopes of getting the two-time Playboy cover girl to join TNA.

On the prospect of working with TNA, Wilson said in a recent interview, "never say never." Wilson said she likes Jeff Jarrett, but at the moment, she wants to focus on her clothing store in Texas, which is doing very well right now.

Wilson also said good friend Gail Kim (when she was still in the organization) tried to persuade her to join TNA.

-- Windsor Star has an interview with TNA wrestler Kevin Nash and he says he's struggling to hold up physically. "It's getting to the point now where physically, I'm getting more beat up," Nash said. "I've got a couple discs in my neck that are bulged and I've gotta get fixed. When I don't think I can bring anything to the program, I'll definitely step aside." Nash also brought up his concerns regarding the state of the economy, feeling it will have an effect on the wrestling business. "I think we're in better shape than the automobile industry," Nash said. "I just think that we're a microcosm of the rest of the economy. The economy is horrible worldwide, and the wrestling business is going to definitely show that." When he feels he can't "go" anymore in the ring, Nash hopes to be involved in TV or film projects. "I'd love to do a TV series. I'd love to do film roles, but," Nash said, "because of the economy, everything's being cut back. It cuts back possibilities." {Wrestling survivor here for BCW bash}

-- The latest edition of Spin Cycle, has the TNA Knockouts talking about The Main Event Mafia vs. The Frontline, the holiday season, HD-TV, and more. This week's panel includes Christy Hemme, Rhaka Khan, ODB and SoCal Val, with a special guest appearance by Executive Shareholder Mick Foley. You can see the latest episode at the following link.

Seriously, why doesn't Nash just become a commentator? He'd be a good fit for that job, IMO.

Kozlov wins a Slammy Award: Breakout Superstar of the Year.

R-Truth: Best Musical Performance

The Dirt Sheet: Best WWE.COM Exclusive

Grisham and Stryker win best announce team.

I have been really surprised by Stryker....I don't watch ECW all that much, but it's fantastic to listen to him call a match

That's good to hear about Stryker. He really is great. I wish he'd replace Cole on Raw. :(

Stryker does color, not play by play....I'd personally love to see JBL put a boot to Lawlers head and take over color commentary on RAW....

Matt Striker becoming Color Man was the best thing to happen to him in the WWE. He can thank Mick Foley for that too. Foley left, Tazz moves back to Smackdown, Striker takes over for Tazz. It's a safe assumption to believe that had it not been for that move, the WWE would have wished Matt Striker well on his future endeavors.

He was great as Big Daddy V's mouthpiece and I was hoping he could respark the lost art of the manager....maybe even reach Heenan like levels

Miz/Morrison - Tag Team of the year. Well deserved.

This really signals it's time to break them up.
