Maria looks like a 13yr old boy in drag....

This is limp, even for you dude...

When he dropped the title, I thought, just maybe, he'd be heading stateside.

I do want to see this happen, Ki in the WWE feuding with Rey.

How long did he have the IWGP jr title ? Japan was his big goal so it would have to be big for him to drop that title, unless of course they just took it off him b/c it wasn't working.

He won it in September.

Agreed. I love Maria, but I can agree that she can be odd looking. But...drag? Really?

The only direction they can take Legacy now is without the second generations superstars. Manu and Snuka is already gone, and not likely to return. Besides, a whole team of newbies who don't have great ring presence (sans Rhodes, who's getting better every single Raw), isn't threatening. But, throw in Jericho, like someone else suggested, and we have a ruthless, interesting team with crazy heat. To round it out, I'd say throw in Mike Knox's beard as the enforcer. You get caught in that thing and the other three can just kick the crap out of you.

Haha, why the hooplah? I see exactly what BL means. I don't care about her enough to hate her either.

if I had my way Maria, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly would be future endeavored already....but I see why they are keeping Kelly around....I don't watch SD all that much so I don't have to deal with her

Ha, I think Maria is one of the divas who looks the least drag-queenish.

Michelle will be future endeavored if she has a nasty breakup with The Deadman.

Kelly is kept around for Batista. It's the only reason they are keeping her. And I bet that Big Dave has had some of Maria.

Kelly Kelly's being kept around because she's a pretty good worker who's shown improvement.

No...everyones perspective is skewed on Kelly...she's still a **** sandwich, just not a soggy one....

Big Dave gets what he wants, whenever he wants!

Yes, because someone who's been vocal forever about not liking Divas who were originally brought on as just eye candy, regardless of how good they get in the ring, doesn't have a skewed perspective at all. :whatever:

I'm still waiting to see this Candice Michelle improvement you guys were/are always talking about :p
Since shes come back she has done anything really worth mentioning, but there was some definite improvement before she injured her collarbone the first time.

No hooplah but if we didn't respond to BL's snide remarks his purpose would dry up. :(

I think Specter summed this up but you are on a roll!

But you think Shelton is good so how would you see ? :( :oldrazz:

Jack Swagger vs Matt Hardy for the ECW Title next week.

Mark Henry will interfere in the match.

LOL. As for Divas who were originally brought on as eye candy and became more, years ago there was fitness guru who acted as eye candy and a manager. Eventually, when Finlay and others revamped the Women's Division, her in-ring skills vastly improved and she became the prototype of a female professional wrestler: Trish Stratus.

Yep. Her ring rust from the injury time ruined the improvements she made.

Alicia Fox and Katie Lea had a nice little match tonight. Alicia wasn't bad in the match even though she lost.

There may be hope for Paul Birchill and Katie Lea yet. Katie did win tonight.

Last night in Alexandria, Louisiana, WWE held a Smackdown brand house show to extend their weekend tour in the South. With this Friday night's Smackdown already taped, WWE scheduled an additional house show on Monday night before the next weekend tour starts on Friday, Jan. 9 in Arkansas.

WWE champion Jeff Hardy did not attend the house show as originally advertised. A local newspaper outlet, the Town Talk, reports "fans were told that wrestler Jeff Hardy couldn't attend but were surprised when they found out Undertaker and Big Show would wrestle in a steel-cage match."

Jeff Hardy wrestled Edge in the main event of Saturday's house show in Tyler, Texas, but we have not received a report from Sunday's house show in Bossier City, La. as to whether he appeared on that show.

TheTownTalk.com interviewed several kids and their parents for their story on the Smackdown house show, and the kids were not surprisingly Jeff Hardy and John Cena fans.
