I wasn’t expecting Randy to interrupt the Miz, big way to kick off Smackdown, and immediately get the backstage segment between him and Cody, making it clear what's he's going for.

Fun 8 woman tag, Iyo sold that pump kick from Lash like death! I wonder if that finishes means there'll be a successful defence for the Kabuki Warriors on Monday.

Trick out there dressed like late 90's Diddy. the lemon pepper steppers is gold material! Sami is a good first feud for him, and I guess that was the start of Sami's push toward the Saudi Rumble or maybe a title match at the event.

I think a one on one with AJ Styles would probably be on a lot of fans lists, and possibly one more match with Randy, but mostly I think he's more interested in being Terry Funk vs the new talent.

I think he might actually get the WWE title shot at the Rumble if Drew wins next week I'm not convinced WWE wanted to build a Sami Zayn World title win as the big program for a Wrestlemania.

Decent match between Giulia and Chelsea but I was expecting Kiana to turn on Giulia, I'm not sure why they switched the title, just to switch it back after a few weeks in heel vs heel program.

I was wondering when the WWE would hear voices in their head again.

I love how they transitioned from Zack Ryder to Matt Cardona with the Titantron but also Cole mentioning that he used to be known as Zack Ryder and was so at the Cena Tournament a bit back. That is the one positive of Triple H's booking that has been overlooked: past callbacks to storylines or gimmicks. Remember that they did the story where Pete Dunne was once Butch, instead of Vince who would have done a storyline where Butch and Pete Dunne were two different people.

That was a good main event between Priest and Black, showing you can have a very physical, anything goes match without actually getting cut up or taking insane risks. It took me a second to realize that was Rhea in the ambulance, at first i actually thought it was Abbie, but you could tell someone was going to be there when Zelina went to open the ambulance doors, I was thinking maybe Lola.

The finish felt like it was supposed to be a South of Heaven off the top of the ambulance, but I'm guessing the table wasn't positioned right, so it ended with a lackluster looking throat shove. I thought maybe there was another twist to come when Priest couldn't get the doors open, but nope. I think the program did a good job of establishing Black and Zelina's presentation, and Black has looked excellent in the matches. As for Priest, he just feels stale, I'd say he's barely in the top 10 over faces in the company, and his biggest reactions come when they remind fans that he's buddies with Rhea.

I think whether it's going heel or not, he desperately needs a freshed presentation, he's been doing the same thing for ages, and that's OK if you're over, but he's not really over. He talks and acts like a tough street dude, like a Mike Santana, but then his entrance has the bat wings and dreary B movie villain score, like a low budget Undertaker, its muddled.

I think Fatal Influence would be ideal for Smackdown, the women's division there needs a massive boost of fresh talent.

From what I saw on line, USA Network wants Joe Hendry on Smackdown. He's a good fit. Maybe it's just me but I kinda like Otisx and Tozawa with him. More likely is a tag team with R Truth, though.

I was listening to Busted Open this morning, and Mark Henry mentioned that a character like Aleister Black needs an underling or helper outside of Zelina. I like that idea. Who would fit there, though?

I think Joe, Tozawa, Otis and Truth would make for an entertaining comedic stable, like an Oddities meets the JOB Squad.

A heavy with Alexa and Zelina would work, if they were looking at NXT I could see Jasper Troy or Niko
Vance fitting that role, you could also repackage Josh Briggs.
