I heard the same. Someone from NXT?.
I can't remember where exactly I read it, but I believe some of the names suggested were Jack Swagger, Paul Heyman, Big Show and Ryback.

Of all of those, I'd say Paul Heyman would be great because Paul Heyman is great, but I don't feel like they need him, or anybody else for that matter. But from the talk about it, it seems like they might be trying to grow the Shield in the same way that the nWo and DX expanded.

I say she goes solo in the divas division

Yeah, though I wouldn't be surprised to see them pair her up with someone else either. It seems they're already planting the seeds for a potential break-up in Dolph's little stable.

On a potential new member of The Shield; I'm not sure it's a good idea as that trio is working so well both on promos and in the ring. I also find it hard to see physically what type they could add to their group that would stand out.

On AJ post-Ziggler; I think it's time to let her stand on her own two feet in the Divas division, put some proper booking into it and see if she can lift the division.

Now that would be a Super-Team. But I can't imagine it stretching out that long. What if that's the match for Summerslam?

That could work as well, it would give Summerslam a huge marquee match and keep some signles marquee matches in the bag for later.

If they went this route, I'd be willing to bet Helmsley will insert himself into it.

Sadly you're right, he'd definitely want in if WWE ever do a War Games.

If they are to get any additional members, I'd prefer it if it were new blood, rather than already established stars on the main roster.

Agreed. Not to take away from Ambrose and co, but if they add an established superstar at this point, that superstar will end up taking precedence in the group.

Same here. Not to mention, they started off as a trio of relatively unknown guys in the WWE, so to add someone who has been established for a while would just seem out of place. The only reason I think Heyman would make the most sense is that he could solve the problem that others have had, which is that they lack direction and purpose. They sound great form what I've heard, but I still don't know why they are here.

Yeah, I haven't really followed her as much, but in the few times I've seen her in the past, it seemed like she was attached to quite a few people. It would be nice to see what she can bring on her own.

I agree. Either way though, I'd prefer new blood or someone who isn't already properly established if anyone new were to be added.

Agreed. Though for some reason, I could see them pairing her with either Ambrose or Rollins once they go solo, lol. Maybe it's just me. :oldrazz:

Absolutely. The Nose of Noses isn't going to want to miss this. :oldrazz:

This might be a bad example, but it would be like when the Rock was in the NoD. Even though he wasn't over with the fans, it helped put him on the map and put him over everyone else in that group, and that eventually lead to its destruction when he finally got too big for it.

Exactly. Plus, with any potential new member(s) being new blood or unestablished, it could also help elevate them.

Keep The Shield undefeated until Survivor Series.

Main Event: War Games

Brock Lesnar and The Shield vs John Cena, CM Punk, Kane & The Undertaker

That's when they finally lose.

I would buy that PPV. I only buy Wrestlemania's but I would absolutely shell out for that PPV, God they really need to bring back Wargames. When The Nose of Noses gets the throne I can see him bringing it back for good.

And on the idea of bringing in a fourth member to The Shield, if it has to be anybody I could see it being Ryback. An out of left-field choice but he could cement his heel turn by putting on the special ops uniform. It could be one of those "I could never beat them so I had to join them...also I hate John Cena and so do they" things. I mean, I could see them helping him beat Cena at Extreme Rules.

And also, it'll allow him to outgrow the Goldberg ripoff gimmick. He can still be the monster but by changing his look a little bit he'll tweak his character to a point where he can actually be a heel that says more than two sentences. The only problem is it would definitely steal from Reigns' spot in the group, and IMO it's way too early for Rollins/Ambrose to turn on Reigns.

So I take it the Undertaker/Ambrose match was good?

On TNA Bully Ray looked like a fool running away from a geriatric Hogan after the phoniest punch exchange you'll see this side of a Shane McMahon segment. Then 2 guys with a combined age of nearly 120 cleared off a biker gang of 10 guys who had quite easily kicked the assess of the rosters younger members.....embarrassing.
THis. So much this. It's total ********, and the spoiled main event for Slammiversary just shows how much ******** it is. Painted themselves into a corner it feels like. Can't see this going well from here on out, now.

Soon we'll be getting Aces & Nines. And Aces and Silver Spurs. And other idiotic ****. I was hoping this was going to go well, but now I can only see it crash and burn.

AJ Lee is good. The way she sold those irish whips on NXT, the hammerlock bridge, and the shining wizard. She should be champion right now.

I like women's wrestling. Sue me.

Also guys, I just happened to come across this match and watch it....I really cant wait to see what these guys do together as singles wrestlers in WWE:

Daniel Bryan vs Dean Ambrose

http://youtu.be/IV51lY6rCAQ

IMO, it was like watching Owen Hart wrestle Brian Pillman.

What are your thoughts on both this match and A potential singles feud between them later down the line?

I'm dying to see a Bryan vs Ambrose in WWE. Ambrose cut an incredible promo on Bryan in Dragon Gate USA too. It felt like The Joker was talking to Batman.

I'm also really hoping that when Team Hell No runs its course, Daniel Bryan starts reusing The Final Countdown as his theme again and incorporate some of his American Dragon shtick into his current character.

Also, I don't know why, but the Ambrose vs Bryan match isn't showing up for me. I'm assuming it's the HWA match from 2010?

That's a solid match but I think they could have better matches in the future.

Oh no doubt, especially if given enough ring time to do so...

But do you agree with the Owen Hart and Brian Pillman comparisons?

I see it to an extent. Ambrose is very much like Pillman in terms of his gimmick. Bryan is very similar to Owen in a lot of areas. However, Ambrose fits into the 80's heel mould in the ring. Terry Funk, Tully Blanchard, Jake Roberts, and Roddy Piper are closer to Ambrose's wrestling style. Pillman was much more of an athletic guy than Ambrose.

Finally got around to watching the Mick Foley documentary tonight despite getting it the day it came out. As expected I thought I was great, I am however a little disappointed it doesn't include his matchs with Edge from WM 22 and Orton from Backlash 04. After speaking so highly of them you'd think they'd include it.

Foley said in a recent interview he wanted the matches to be more exclusive and not include all stuff on his previous releases. I noticed WWE is doing that a lot and including a commentary for matches that have been released numerous times.

I'll be holding onto my old dvd collection.

I don't mind at all some hidden gems but I'd of liked them to include those classics that made Orton and gave Foley his Mania moment. I'd be less annoyed if I had my DVD collection with me but I just moved recently and didn't bother to bring everything just yet. Unfortunately I really wanna revisit those matches right now after that documentary.

You're not the only one, dude.

I agree, though the irish whip's she takes always look funny to me. It's as if she pauses a little before impact and then throws herself into the turnbuckle, ropes, etc. :D
