AJ has the annoying little tramp schtick down to a T. No way I want to see a face turn anytime soon.

I went to go see Mick Foley's show last night in Leeds was great, he has so many good stories.
Also got to meet him which was pretty awesome.

Since he was forced to re-retire sooner than he had planned, I'm happy Mick Foley continues to make a living as a stand up comedian. After I'm done with In Your House (I'm on Disc 2 now), I'm going to read all 4 of his autobiographies.

The reason is that modern WWE fans need a reason to care about the match, what's it's purpose? what will be the aftermath? how does it forward either character?

If you look at Raw it had several good matches but they all lost numbers because they all meant nothing. I'm an oldschool wrestling fan and even I was bored because I knew that Kofi, the new US champion, was just being used as a JJTS, I knew Cesaro and Cody would eat mat, basically three guys who were put into cold matches as glorified enhancement talent, it kills interest in my view.

I agree to a point. WWE stopped making matches meaningful in terms of storyline development a long time ago, especially for the undercard. That being said, the in-ring action is still the center of the product. Turning the channel during a good match is like watching a super hero movie but avoiding all the battles scenes.

To be fair, you can only be interested in watching the same two guys wrestle each other so many times. I loved Kofi and Dolph's feud in 2009, but even I got bored of their rematches after that year.

That's not always true. Sometimes guys wrestle too many times in a row or during a certain period, but there are pairings that have enough magic to be revisted multiple times. Flair and Steamboat was a perfect example of this. They had 3 different feuds in three different decades, all under different circumstances. They had enough variety with their in-ring skills to make each match interesting even as they aged.

Kofi and Dolph are like this. They make something special together that always seems fresh. I think Kofi should have been Dolph's first full-blown feud as WHC. A series of great PPV matches could have been bragging material for Dolph and put Kofi back in the spotlight for something meaningful down the road.

I still wouldn't rule him out as Taker's last WM opponent.

I would, the guy can barely walk that well, or for that long.
Maybe DDP could help him lose some weight and feel better, they are good buddies.

You may need to remove the video and just post the link due to mention of "s-word."

BTW, it's my first time playing the game. I don't plan on making CAWs of actual wrestlers.

The Artist formerly known as El Generico makes his debut in NXT:

To air on May 22nd 2013:

- Curt Hawkins vs Sami Zayn

Zayn won when he grabbed Hawkins in a wristlock, ran up the corner and came out of it with a spinning DDT.

- Antonio Cesaro vs Yoshi Tatsu

Cesaro won with Swiss Death followed by the Neutralizer in a fast squash. After the match, Cesaro cut a promo about how no one on any WWE show can give him competition. Sami Zayn came out to refute Cesaro's claim and challenge him to a match. Zayn ended the back and forth making fun of Cesaro by speaking Arabic and French to confuse him.

- Antonio Cesaro vs Sami Zayn

Zayn won by reversing a suplex into a rollup. Cesaro immediately jumped Zayn afterwards and laid him out with the Neutralizer.

This CM Punk story gets more and more interesting: http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/news/16374/major-news-why-cm-punk-threatened-to-quit-wwe

As we reported on earlier here on the website, CM Punk had a major blow-out backstage with Vince McMahon to the point where Punk had threatened to quit. New details have emerged in regards to this matter. According to WWE sources, CM Punk was upset about constantly being lied too about his match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 29. Although Punk didn’t understand the logic of going under, he was fine with it. Conversely, he was told up until the event that the creative plans were still up in the air.

When Punk found out the outcome all along was for The Undertaker to go over and extend the streak to 21-0, Punk was irate and felt that Vince McMahon and Triple H were betraying him by lying to him. This ultimately led to Punk stating that the company can eat the remainder of his contract and that he was finished. This obviously caught Vince McMahon’s attention, and he finally decided to sit down with Punk to iron things out. After repeatedly asking Vince why he had to threaten to quit the company to finally get attention, it’s being said that Punk went all out and vented frustrations about guys like Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro and Kofi Kingston working hard while the company is too busy with ‘hot shot booking’ and storylines to please their own egos.

During the sit down between Punk and McMahon, things took yet another turn for the worse when Punk requested time off to heal up. Although Vince tried to talk Punk into staying around a bit longer for his next program, in the end it was agreed upon that Punk would take some time off to heal up.

In correlation to this matter, there was a conference call a few weeks ago between Punk, Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman and the writers to further discuss Punk’s future, where numerous ideas were pitched. It’s also said the ideas pitched ultimately hinge on Punk’s health and Vince’s desire. Whether or not they choose to go with any of the ideas remain to be seen as plans can and most likely will change numerous times between now and Punk’s expected return.

This is going to be interesting

Its interesting Punk is in a very unique position, he must know by now that he hs Vince by the ''grapefruits'. I dont think any wrestler in the past or present has made Vince budge, then again the industry was a much happier place back then for everyone.

I thought it was a 2 year deal

Also, I'm not saying it is, but I'm not totally convinced that report is completely true. Something about it just doesn't sound right.

That means it would be up this summer then. As it stands, it seems the E want him back so he'll have to be offered another contract, if he hasn't already.

Yes indeed, this could get interesting.

Is that from when his contract was about run out, around mid 2011 'shoot promo' time?

ok my bad , its 7 yr deal

CM Punk: $1,220,500 downside/allocated a personal touring bus/first class travel arrangements paid for, when bus travel is not an option/receives an additional 3.25% bonus for high merchandise sales - 7 year contract
