I love how you could feel the Desperation in this legends night on every corner.
They drag out everyone they think can help the ratings, and you could clearly see that this was the only reason for this night.

And yet again it shows that Vince doesnt understand, that his only idea how to deal with bad ratings...are legends.

They wasted lee vs mcintrye on Raw when they could have built it up perfectly for the Rumble.
But no, the ratings are bad so we need a Legend that can walk over the young guys.

To be fair, there is a certain track record that makes the idea not so bad.
The legends helped the ratings a few times for short period.
But what about the future?
What do you do when the effect has run its course?

Building new stars with good storytelling/booking is seemingly not the answer according to Vince.

I dont see any reason for Goldberg vs Mcintrye.
It takes the spot away from a young guy, Mcintrye is established enough.
There are only negatives, it could hurt mcintrye and the prestige of the title that was built up.

Also, i know logic is something weird in the world of wrestling and wwe...but it looks super dumb that Goldberg can just walk in, shove the champ and get a title match.
While the rest of the roster prepares for a Royal Rumble match they need to go through if they want a titleshot.

There are only two WWE legends we would all cheer for if they showed up, no matter what they did on WWE TV and one of them is one of the biggest movie stars in the world (the Rock) and the other being Stone Cold Steve Austin. The only acceptable legends, especially Dwayne Johnson because of his larger than life persona and the fact that he's still one of the biggest movie stars in the world.

Night 2 of Wrestle Kingdom was pretty great. Ibushi held onto the double gold in a very good but way too long match with Jay. Takahashi was amazing again in capturing the jr heavyweight gold. Sanada/Evil was suprisingly good, as I can't really handle Evil matches, and Yano sneaking out as the KOPW was great. All that said, night 2 for me was all about Shingo and Cobb. What a physical war. I thought for sure Cobb was going to take the title, and all the ups and downs worked so well. A real strong style title match.

Considering Naito's personality, own history and history with Ibushi, it made perfect sense imo.

The opener was so good. Bullet Club move spamming point a smile on my face. My personal favorite was Okada/Ospeary. My favorite match since the world went to hell. Also loved the main event. I enjoy the two day format, but I do feel that it has left us with two really good cards, as opposed to one great one. Especially when you consider that Okada and Naito will not be part of night two. Insanity.

I don't think they should unify the belts, I think they should separate them again. The big secondary title shouldn't be the NEVER or the US title imo. It should be the IC title, which is perfect for guys like Sanada, Ospeary, Jay, Evil, and others right now.

I was so confused by the Mox thing. I really want to see him finally back, but it didn't feel like we really got a date. Part of me thought, "is he going to say he is there tomorrow". Which of course. makes no sense. He was in the states this past week. But I was honestly confused.

Ibushi just said it, so it very much looks like the unification will happen.

With Moxley coming back, it's time to take the US title off of him.

I’m a little surprised that all three members of The Empire lost, but it doesn’t bother me.

Does it happen in AEW or on New Japan Strong?

Blah. I can see them undoing this down the line.

Jay White says he's done with New Japan. Right now I am leaning on it being a storyline.

Charlotte Flair enters the Royal Rumble match.....which means she's winning it.

I do not think Charlotte will win it. I think it will be Bianca or Rhea. I think Charlotte will be Raw champ before Mania.

Bianca needs to win the Rumble. I'm already borderline done with the WWE, but I can only take so much of Charlotte.
I don't know if I want Bianca to win it, because I don't think Sasha should lose it, but I don't know. I think Bianca should face Sasha at Mania either way though. I want Rhea to win it and then challenge Charlotte to avenge last year. If that isn't' the plan, go with Bianca.

I’ve been done with them a good while now. Haven’t been watching the weekly shows or ppvs, cancelled my subscription to the network. Just can’t with this company anymore. I just see what’s going on here and there through social media etc.

I'd suggest giving SD and NXT a try. Both have been rather good imo. A lot of people killing it on SD.

My friend will let me borrow his log in to watch anything if I wanted to. So Rumble is something I’ll probably watch of course.

Sonya Deville for Rumble winner!

Would be a good starting point to build her up as new Superstar of the division...so i doubt they do it.
