The Wrestling Thread has much larger nipples

They fired like half the roster during the pandemic.

And many of those seemed happy to be fired, like it was a relief they are no longer a part of the WWE.

My point still stands, not everyone in the WWE is miserable. There are likely some who are, but not everyone. I just listed all of those people who I believe are happy to be in the WWE.

Bianca and Becky made this kid's day:

Edge is quickly shuffled in to the #1 Babyface slot after tonight. Right behind Roman in the pecking order now.

Hopefully Edge goes back to asking if you think you know him and I hope he sees clearly once again.

Also, John Cena returns June 27th.

I never mentioned Alexa Bliss or T Bar. I mentioned Roman, Usos, Becky Lynch, New Day, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Riddle and Bianca Belair as superstars who are likely overall happy to be in the WWE dispel. T Bar could benefit from being released TBH.

God forbid WWE actually honors their contracts and tries to do something with these guys. So much for WWE Creative.

I don't get why you are so snarky about it. You write for 411 Mania, and you know that it's highly unlikely that many of the names I mention, like Roman, The Miz, The New Day, Randy Orton, the USOS or Seth Rollins are going to wrestle for any promotion that isn't WWE, which means that they are not miserable with their status in WWE.

My whole point has been that not everyone in the WWE is miserable to be in the WWE, I don't get why that's hard to understand?

It's actually not unlikely at all. Look at Bryan Danielson and CM Punk. Danielson headlined WrestleMania and within a matter of months he was in AEW because he was unhappy in WWE. CM Punk returned from a near eight year hiatus to wrestle for AEW.

Toni Storm quit WWE because they crushed her love for wrestling. Her words not mine. And now she wrestles for AEW.

I'm sure there are some guys who are happy to be there and who aren't miserable. But I'm sure there are still plenty who are.

For sure, and that was the point I have been making the whole time. But still I find it hard to believe that Roman Reigns will ever leave WWE and wrestle somewhere else. If he leaves WWE, it might be for Hollywood and if he's successful enough out there, he'll be like John Cena.

Stranger things have happened. This is a nutty business.

That's because nowhere else can pay him as much or give him the visibility for his potential movie career as WWE, plus why would he be miserable? He's been pushed non-stop on top for like a decade. I think it's likely most of the ones who stay in WWE have just lost their fire and are comfortable in their pipe and slippers to just tread water and keep that money rolling in.

Looks like Edge might be unhappy with WWE creative now as well.

411MANIA | WWE Reportedly Wanted The Judgment Day To Be More ‘Supernatural’

According to the report, WWE had mentioned the idea of bringing the group down a “supernatural” direction, which Edge was opposed to. Word began to circulate hours before Raw that there was a big shift to the group involving Balor and Edge was happening. It was also noted that while that was officially set on Monday, there was a pitch to put Balor in the group before that and that in the week before, Balor was set to turn heel and join the stable. There was however no world at that time of Edge exiting the stable.

I am not saying Roman is miserable. All I have been saying that there's a perception out there in the IWC that every WWE superstar is miserable in the WWE because the WWE is an awful place to work for and I have said that isn't true and citied Roman as an example of one of those who is not miserable at all in regards to his WWE status.

Of course Roman isn't miserable, he's the highest paid guy on the roster and has been pushed on top for nearly a decade, he's been treat like royalty from the moment he debuted, he's not a great example.

A better example maybe? Sami Zayn. He has said that he is happy to be in the WWE, and I 100% believe him when he says that.

I think he's a guy that's just given up, doing stupid, goofy nonsense like wrestling the brain addled Jackass guy at Mania shows he no longer cares and is happy to collect that reliably sizeable WWE paycheck, he's in the pipe and slippers stage of his career, content to coast by for a few more years where he's settled.

So you think that there's nobody actually happy in WWE, they are there to collect a massive paycheck?

Curious to know from you end if you like 5 things at all about WWE. I ask this to posters who bash WWE to name 5 things they like about the company, just out of curiosity. I say this because it seems like when WWE does anything right (which is rare) some people just gloss over it and focus on the negative.

This is not me being some WWE shill. That's not what I am. All I am saying is that for the 1000 things the WWE does negative, there are 10 things they do that is positive and the IWC always skips the positive.
