The Wrestling Thread has much larger nipples

Anything interesting on Smackdown tonight?

Not much, Cena opened the show, but they're stalling on him vs Brock, instead Logan Paul came out and challenged Cena to a match at Clash in Paris, which then saw Drew help him attack Cena and Cody make the save, setting up a tag match main event that I actually thought might be a Clash in Paris match before Brock's return. The match was pretty short and mainly the set up for a big angle at the end where Drew obliterated Cody with a devastating looking Claymore through the side of the announce table. Not sure if that means Cody vs Drew at Clash in Paris, or if that's an injury angle and the match will be further down the road.

Sami beat Solo in a random match, not sure if he's on Smackdown now or if it was just a treat for Montreal because he's from there.

There was an overly long, unfunny birthday segment with Charlotte and Alexa that led to Chelsea being cannon fodder for Charlotte again.

Tiffany had a brief interview backstage which Jade interrupted, then Kiana James and Giulia showed up and Kiana offered Jade her business card which Jade didn't want, but then Michin popped in and said she'd take the card to get herself a US title match.

Out of all of the active wrestlers at their disposal, I can't believe they want to use up one of John Cena's last few matches on Logan Paul.

Then again, a majority of his heel run has been a bust imho.

The booking in WWE is all over the place right now. But I'm totally not surprised HHH never bothered to do anything with Ron Killings.

It was looking like Roman would be wrestling at Clash in Paris, as he's on 2 of the 3 Raw’s leading to it, and Trips just posted this essentially confirming it.

I am gonna be honest yall, think I am skipping WWE for the rest of year except for maybe Cena's last match. The 30 PLE thing has made me lose interest in keeping up with stories I won't watch the payoff for

We've got Peacock until the end of the year.

So Kross and Scarlett have been moved to the alumni section. Could be a giant work for a big return. Who knows? Whatever they do best of luck to them, I'll be rooting for them. But it's not like the WWE struck while the irons hot. Maybe Kross knows he's hot right now and can get a better deal elsewhere? Time will tell. Tick Tock.

I wonder if we'll get loud "We Want Kross" chants the way Truth got them?

I definitely think it's a work, I'm not sure where they go with it though, he's not some Austin like rebel fighting the system, he's a creepy manipulator who's supposed to be a heel.

The opening segment went well and has set up a solid main event, and I loved Bronson Reed's new Tribal theif vignette! :D

I tuned in to be a decent amount of the match between Roxy and Iyo

Hell of a match and a big win Roxy needed, plus it's the next layer in the issues between Iyo and the Kabuki Warriors, specifically Iyo and Asuka, poor Kairi looks stuck in the middle right now. 🤔

More Iyo with Stephanie and Rhea interactions, she's in the thick of things.

Punk and Knight doing some nice old school tag work early in this match.

Good main event with the obvious run-in from Seth, and now they've added Jey to make it a Fatal 4-Way at Clash in Paris, which is fine with me, it's a multi-man either way and holds off the huge Seth vs Punk and Seth vs Roman World title singles matches for now.

The Bayley video just before the main event was intriguing, is she bringing back that goofy ding dong gameshow host gimmick? 🤔
