They're so greedy, and tonedeaf, they're promoting this ESPN thing like it's good for fans, when from what I can see the only beneficiaries are the WWE and TKO bank accounts.

Yup. There was an article with Khan where he said they followed us from the network to Peacock to netflix they'll follows us here too. Basically saying the fans are idiots and will pay whatever we tell them to.



Stuff like this takes me and Spider Fan out along with many others. To quote the current Chief Content Officer, I've got two words for ya.

They're going to see a decrease in the US viewership and wonder why they're not doing as well domestically. I see a rise in VPN usage and just changing your location to UK or Canada and have everything on netflix. Or people will go back to watching through less reputable means or not watching at all.

That's exactly what will happen, people will just find alternate methods to view the PLE's, there's too many of them anyway, so they'll take extra hits when fans have to pay to view them, it's not a great deal for ESPN as the value won't be there for what they paid Imo.

There was some decent action on NXT the other night, especially Inamura vs Briggs and Trick vs Je'Von, but it was disappointing that Trick didn't win, I like Je'Von but it's beyond time we got a proper one on one between Trick and Oba. I also have to give Jacey Jayne her credit, she's stepped up since becoming Champion.

The Heatwave card is pretty decent.

Becky's promo was a masterclass in being a heel no matter where you are, she guided the crowd excatly where she wanted them to go even in her own hometown, shame that the main event tag match that came from it was lacklustre with a dull finish

Piper Niven getting a win over Charlotte was a huge moment for her, well deserved bit of shine.

Cena filleted and then cooked Logan Paul, and Paul sold it like the "prime" heel he is.

The tag team division continues to percolate nicely, next weeks number 1 contenders match between Melo don't Miz and the Street Profits should be good.

I noticed Abbie the Witch lurking in the background during the Giulia and Michin backstage segment, poor Giulia.

Orton returning to RKO McIntyre was unexpected, I like how he didn't do the musical run-in. I also didn't expect the R-Truth/Priest bait and switch, but this feud between Priest and Black is developing solidly.

Solo vs Sami for the US title and Alexa & Charlotte vs the Secret Hervice for the tag team titles on Smackdown in Lyon next week should have a hell of crowd if last time is anything to go by.
