Jasmyn Nyx will not return to NXT after turning down a new contract.

Also Matt Cardona was one of the TNA Wrestlers who showed up last night on NXT. Mustafa Ali and FKA Dolph Ziggler did not.

Ah, I mean that's good in a way but I imagine she's done as far as TNA and WWE are concerned.

She's also likely done in the various Indy promotions she is a regular for.

So NXT had been a bit dull the last few weeks storyline wise, but the TNA invasion has made things interesting, especially when guys like Cedric Alexander, Matt Cardona, Eric Young, Steve Macklin and a knockout like Lei Ying Lee were all involved in the invasion. If previous appearances by JDC, Zach Wentz and most recently Xia Brookside are any indication, the history of those 5 in the WWE will be mentioned by NXT if they all return. They will mention Cardona is a former WWE IC Champion and former WWE Tag Team Champion without saying he was Zack Ryder.

One negative of NXT though is Dark State as tag team champions. They do nothing for me at all, even though Saquon Shugars is the best one of the bunch.

Feels a bit too soon for Brock vs Bron. 🤔

Well they have seven months until WrestleMania. So maybe Vision and Brock turn on Bron Breakker and he kicks him out and Bron will want revenge.

Also, Brock Lesnar is 48. If you have big matches in mind for him, you have to bite on them while you can because his TRT meter will run out eventually. Plus, who knows if more embarrassing information comes out like the Janel Grant situation.

Didn't Vic Joseph say "that's Matt Cardona!" On commentary the other night? I'm curious to see if Dolph gets involved. Apparently there's talk of doing a TNA vs NXT Invasion PLE. I thought maybe they're considering a War Games match.

Fair point on Brock's age, but with him only appearing sporadically I doubt we see him at more than the Survivor Series, Rumble and Mania, and I figured they'd want to do the Gunther match first. @Lobo also made a great point that you don't want to make Bron look small as Lesnar is actually massive compared to him.

With these vignettes they've been running on NXT for Lola Vice, I think it's inevitable that she wins the women's title at No Mercy, which is also in Florida, where she comes from. The promo with her and Jacy Jayne was good this week, and added a little doubt, but I think they'll crown a hew Champion tomorrow night.

Trips needs to get AJ into some proper feuds before he retires, the stuff with Dom was fun, but he deserves something bigger before he bows out.

What's going on with Chad Gable? What injury did he sustain?

Shoulder.

I am interested in seeing how he's going to respond to Ludwig Kaiser stealing his El Grande Americano gimmick and then making the guy super popular in Mexico (to the point that El Grande Kaiser has his own Mexican mask in AAA) and then teaming with Los Americanos of Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate (they should be called Dos Americano and Tres Americano).

I am sensing Chad and the Creeds vs. El Grande Americano, El Grande Peter Dunne and El Grande Tyler Bate. However, Gable and the Creeds have Ivy Nile, so I don't know if there's going to be a "La Grande Americana" to counter Ivy.

The ladies holding it down in the ring tonight on Smackdown, plus the US title open challenge and Cody wagging his chin.

The No Mercy card is pretty decent. 👍

Je'Von Evans has the worst match on the card because he's going up against Josh Briggs.

Lola Vice is due to be NXT Women's Champion and Ricky Saints has been a bit of an underwhelming signing for NXT, although I did like that he just randomly sauntered out of nowhere to look at the NXT Championship, only to have a staredown with Oba Femi while TNA and NXT are brawling in the background. Lola wins it so that Blake Monroe beats her for that title.

Tavion Heights needs to win it and Ethan Page goes up.
