WWE Sign Guy never disappoints. :hehe:

You want to talk indy wrestling, you're speaking my language. Promotions I follow:
AAW
AIW
ROH
PWG

Some wrestlers I follow very closely at the moment:
Kevin Steen
Adam Cole
Shane Hollister
Tommaso Ciampa
Michael Elgin
ACH
The Young Bucks
Kyle O'Reilly
Drake Younger
Willie Mack
Uhaa Nation

Just to name a few.

The Indies I follow the NWA SoCalPro and Championship Wrestling from Hollywood.

Willie Mack is awesome. Also PPRay are a great tag team. So is Anchors Away.

The one thing I worry about is that the "Punk" protest chants will replace the "Daniel Bryan!" and "YES!" chants, and so WWE will rationalise this as Daniel Bryan's heat blowing over and use it as an excuse to not bother booking him anywhere near the WrestleMania main event. Punk left, among other things, out of frustration over the mistreatment of Daniel Bryan. The way to show solidarity for him isn't to chant his name, it's to chant Bryan's.

It's my 4 year Anniversery here on the Hype and I just want to let you guys know that this thread is truly the one reason I went from a long-time lurker, to signing up and why stick around. I'm here everyday, whether I post or not and I do read everyone's posts.

I know I never say anything game changing or thought provoking and you guys put up with my lame attempts at jokes, but I enjoy the fun we have with each other and here's to the many years to come.

You're okay, I guess. You know ... for a Blackhawks fan. :cmad:

I can see why, but I think it would be awesome to have dueling "WE Want Bryan/CM Punk" chants.

Happy Anniversary Pancakes!

Willie Mack is awesome. Met him at PWG Ten last year and was a really chill dude. If WWE ever signed him, I can see him being an even better Mark Henry.

This what worries me, come Monday Night and Daniel Bryan tries to start a Yes chant, and instead fans start chanting for CM Punk.

I almost feel like they always make sure sign guy sits opposite of the hard camera now. Every now and then you'll see him but in a spot where his signs aren't visible.

Ever watch CWFH? Scorpio Sky is bad ass too. If TNA was booked better then I would want people like Pearce, Mack and Sky to go but TNA is stuck in poor man's WCW wannabe mode.

I wouldn't worry too much. I'm willing to be that when Bryan is in the ring, he'll be receiving "YES!" and "Daniel Bryan!" chants... every other segment is probably fair game for Punk chants though.

Honestly all Bryan would have to do to make Punk fans behave is pull a Cena and "agree" with the audience. I hope Bryan knows to keep that up his sleeve.

RAW is 3 hours. I'm sure people won't hijack a guy they love's segments when there are Orton, Del Rio, and Batista segments. They like to pick on those guys.

After hearing the NXT fan reaction, I CANNOT wait for the upcoming RAW. It's going to be smarky as hell in a town that probably isn't even a smark town.

I heard it's gonna be in Omaha. Lot of kids, but I expect a smarky crowd. :hehe:

Would Daniel Bryan's look help him with Vince IF he went short haired and clean shaven again or at least shaved head with light beard?

He's not worried about the beard. He's worried about the height and the muscles.

But weren't they complaining that he looked too "Vanilla" when he didn't have the unkempt look he has now?

Cesaro vs Ziggler on Smackdown is great and Swagger vs Christian is pretty good as well, I liked Christian's post-match promo.

Titus turning on Darren and the Aleksander Rusev vignette were surprising in as much as Mania season is not usually the time for a change of character direction or a debut.

The promo between The Shield and Triple H was really good, it set the ground work for some interesting possibilities.

The Shield vs Bryan/Rey/Sheamus was an entertaining main event.

Thanks! I feel like Triple H after his 02 Rumble return. Now I gotta bury ALL OF YOU! :cwink:

Does that mean we have to walk Steph's dog? :D

Well said man, this thread is easily the best on the Hype with the best camaraderie!

Funny thing is, I wonder if Cena would have become Vince's pet project had it not been for his increased muscle mass by 2004 and 2005?

I mean look at Cena in 2002 and how small he was and take into account that he's not even taller than Shawn Michaels and barely taller than X-Pac. Interesting that there's a chance Vince's muscle fetish would have caused Vince to overlook him in different circumstances since HHH was already backstage saying Cena wouldn't make it.

I just don't understand why you don't put the guys who are clearly over with the fans... And are even getting attention outside wrestling mediums... Just because "you" don't like the way they look. That's bad for business. :( Triple H probably can't stand the fact that people like DBry and CM Punk are 10x the wrestler he ever was. I still like Triple H, but he's never been that great, IMO.

I'm the same height as John Cena?

:wow:

And yeah, I agree with you. If Cena wasn't as big, he wouldn't be the face of the WWE.
