Batisra looked pathetic in the Rumble. He can't keep up with Lesnar.

I know. The reason I want Sheamus to wrestle him is because I think they would steal the show. Even if it doesn't happen at Mania I want the match to happen before Lesnar finishes his contract.

Any big not named Undertaker vs Batista is gonna be terrible LOL. Again, Sheamus vs Batista works best as a still picture than an actual match.

What are you talking about? Lobo is referring to Lesnar vs Sheamus, not Batisra vs Sheamus.

I've gotta admit, I've never been a fan of Lesnar. I feel like he's always made out to look like this unstoppable beast, but then he gets beat by guys like Triple H or Eddie Guerrero and it just brings him down as a threat. I'm not really a fan of the idea of seeing him against Taker.

Really? The dude is a freak athlete and everything he does looks legitimate. What's not to like? What big man can do what Lesnar does?

@ NDX, another good Devitt match = Tanahashi vs Devitt:

[YT]7zy7LIRINxE[/YT]

There's a good bit of heelish antics here from the two guys respective factions but the match itself was mostly entertaining IMO.

Also I just like to point out that it took interference by Goldberg for Eddie Guerrero to beat Brock Lesnar. Lesnar is booked strong in losses.

I got around to watching Okada vs Tanashi at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling from October of last year....Okada and Tanahashi f-cking killed it. At certain parts I was getting scared that Okada would no sell the arm damage but fortunately he didnt and Tanahashi's feigned knee injury was an interesting tactic as well.

I'd love to see Daniel Bryan go at it with either of these two guys but even moreso Hiroshi Tanashi. Dude definitely has a fan in me now.

Was watching some NJPW matches to get my mind off of TNA's bush leagueness tonight lol.

Tanahashi, Bryan, and Okada=3 best wrestlers in the world without a doubt.

Curious, based on what you guys have seen and know of Bryan's real life fighting abilities, would you guys say that he's capable of actually beating some of the wrestlers presently working for the company if he were to get into a real fight with one of them?

Considering his training with Randy Couture, I'd like to think he would easily be able to kick quite a few asses on the roster in a real fight situation.

Apparently Tanahashi and Bryan went at it in 2004 BUT it never hurts for guys that good in the ring to have a rematch :woot:

And on Okada, he's only 26 and this good. Imagine how he'll be in 10 years when he gets to Tanahashi's age?

Oh no doubt, Okada seems to have come into his own and REALLY showed what he was made of in his matches with Tanashi so I wouldnt doubt that he'd be even better once he is his age.

Man, It was weird seeing Tanahashi and Bryan in a match where the crowd was barely reacting until the end. if those two had a match NOW, the crowd would be going NUTS over in NJPW from start to finish.

I'd definitely agree with that.

Interesting...so would it be reasonable to assume that if he ever got into a fight with guys like Batista or Randy in real life, that he could take them down as well?

Well, I guess that just goes to further show on how size and muscles really don't matter.

Bryan can be in a match with a big guy and make it look very realistic. See his match with Bray Wyatt at the Rumble and the now classic matches with Takeshi Morishima. I don't see him having too much trouble if he were in a legit fight.

With that said, I think that in a world where Japanese talent could get over in America in a big way then man, I'd LOVE to see Tanahashi have a match with John Cena or something in WWE..... In a time where something like that would hold American audiences' attention.

I think it would be cool if international promotions partnered with WWE to bring their product to the states. WWE can dub shows with English commentary on WWE Network.

Yeah I would love for WWE to do international partnerships. Especially for when they have green ass performers...They can take care of it by sending them to japan to hone their craft.

Like promotions from Japan or Mexico?..Biggest mark out..Ever!

The thing I don't understand about that much-rumored Wrestlemania card is......what is John Cena doing?

So it's Batista vs. Orton in the main event? I mean, I'm not a John Cena fan but he deserves to be in the main event. It's weird that he would just be shuffled into a feud with Bray Wyatt.

So then is there something else they're planning for the "real" main event? Something involving Hogan, I would assume?

Can you imagine if this happened...

Vince McMahon comes out on Raw. He says he's heard the fan reactions, read the message boards... he knows people aren't happy with Batista VS Randy Orton as their main event. The WWE Universe has spoken, and so he has made the match a triple threat. And here is your third competitor, the man more deserving of a WrestleMania moment than anyone....

And John Cena's music starts to play.
