Now that their teasing the breakup of the Real Americans, do you think their gonna try to turn Swagger face? Or somehow turn Cesaro and Colter face?

I say Cesaro and Zeb. Fans don't want to cheer Swagger, at least the giant swing gets the crowd to pop.

Swagger needs a Biff gimmick.

This Shield vs Wyatts feud is definitely off to a good start. Like that all three Wyatt members are actually talking now too

You picked a beautiful Wrestling Thread to die in

Bray Wyatt's promo's are always captivating. When they first started talking about doing The Shield vs The Wyatt Family I was sold on it. 2 of the best things they have going for them currently (aside from DBry.)

Awesome match but one thing I seem to notice is that anytime Bryan and Roman get into the ring despite Roman know showing up guys like Cena, Sheamus etc in the ring, Bryan always seem to have his number in the ring.

That can be interesting groundwork if they ever plan a Main Event feud for them in the future.

Two good segments that for reasons, I can't understand, aren't put on the damn show:

Dolph Ziggler giving a rather passion interview that sounds like it came from the heart and likely has a bit of reality to it: http://www.wwe.com/videos/tom-phill...his-match-wwe-app-exclusive-jan-31-2-26179139

When given the time or day to talk on TV, Ziggler should cut more promos like this in serious situations.

And a backstage fallout segment that follows up on this Summer Rae/Emma thing and just a glimpse of how charismatic she actually is: [YT]bOgUrFCw2LI[/YT]

Man what an inspiring promo for Dolph.

Summer reminds me of Hilary from Fresh Prince of Belair.

Grantland: CM Punk Quits Wrestling, Capping a Very, Very Bad Week for WWE

f Punk is really gone, regardless of his self-destructive attitude, it will be a black eye for the WWE, which happens to be in the midst of a monumental expansion and at peak season with WrestleMania approaching. If the truth ends up being some combination of these scenarios, then we’ve entered a whole new era of the worked shoot. If it’s a ploy, then it’s brilliant. Because it’s not just a head fake. It’s using everything fans don’t want to believe about wrestling to turn the screw: The stars are unhappy; the physical toll is real; WWE management doesn’t do enough to protect its best talent. I can only assume Punk’s departure is real, because this is ground WWE would be crazy to willingly uncover
.

It's my 4 year Anniversery here on the Hype and I just want to let you guys know that this thread is truly the one reason I went from a long-time lurker, to signing up and why stick around. I'm here everyday, whether I post or not and I do read everyone's posts.

I know I never say anything game changing or thought provoking and you guys put up with my lame attempts at jokes, but I enjoy the fun we have with each other and here's to the many years to come.

Sorry I didn't get to this earlier, but happy anniversary! :) I don't have any friends where I live that like wrestling or comics so this is my place to enjoy discussing that stuff.

Thanks man, was the same for me until about a month ago I found out a buddy from work likes wrestling. Don't have any friends that are into comics, used to be on comicbookresources.com, but haven't been there in years.

Smackdown's only on now, how have you already seen it?

I agree with what you're saying, but I don't agree that it isn't a case of them being jerks in some instances. Not only do they chant to hijack and let the brass know who they want (which I understand and agree with), but they also go the old 'boring' route in some instances when a match that is going on at that time is actually quite good, just because their preferred smark favourite isn't in the ring. An example being, Del Rio. He may have the charisma and promo skills of a cardboard cut-out, but he delivers for the most part in the ring when he's out there, but even that isn't acknowledged.

I suppose to the smarks the great match he had with Nicky a few months back on ME was all down to Ziggler. If that's the case, I call BS. :o

I think the boring chant for Bertie is like the boring chants this past Sunday for Cena and Orton. It's a reaction to the same guys in the same position for such a long time that the staleness has created a backlash.

About to go back and read you guys thoughts on SD and see what happened, but figured I'd post the results of the house show I just got back form.

Now, granted I got there about 30-35 minutes late but still saw a pretty decent show

First up was Bo Dallas vs Adrian Neville which was underway when I arrived. They had a good back and forth ten minute match Dallas got a lot of heat and the crowd was popping big for Neville. I could definitely see him taking the Evan Bourne spot not to mention he's ripped as hell, the look Vince and Trips love only he looks like a version that got shrunk in the dryer. Neville pinned Bo after a corkscrew shooting star press.

Next was the match of the night with The Brotherhood vs Real Americans. Zeb cut a fun little promo before it began that had the whole arena booing him. Goldust worked most of the match and he was on fire. I've seen him wrestle live a few times, but you can just tell he's revitalized and it shows. This match had to have lasted at least 20 minutes. Goldust as I said worked most of it and Cody had a few spots. After working on Goldust for a long time Cody eventually got the hot tag and cleaned house finishing off with a cross rhodes on Swagger. The Brotherhood signed autographs and took pics with a lot of different fans ringside and in the aisle before heading to the back

Intermission so people could go get snacks/buy merch

when I came back from intermission it was 3MB vs Los Matadores and Hunicara (my guess they knew people were still buying t-shirts and stuff so sent the nobody's out there) It was an ok match, with Hunicara and Matadores going over. No El Torito.

Then, it was time for Kane vs Big Show it wa sabout what you'd expect from those two. Some CM Punk chants were going, but not raucous, no were the Yes! or Daniel Bryan chants. Show ko'd Kane in about a 5 minute match

Main event Orton vs Cena for the championship. Cena came out with one of the make a wish kids who did the full Cena entrance with him. They were even dressed the same. Cena got easily the loudest pop of the night. Chimmel was introducing Cena as both he and Orton were in the ring and demanded the champion be introduced first. It was actually one of the better matches the two have had with Randy dominating most of the action. The final spot came when Cena got Randy up for the AA but he was near the ropes and grabbed on, while trying to separate Randy from the ropes and do the move when Cena broke Orton's grip, and his feet KO'd the ref. While the ref was down, Orton tapped to the STF. After that they kicke dout of each others moves and a couple false finished where Randy got out of the AA and low blow Cena to get dq'd. Cena beat him up a little after and AA'd him to end the night

Adrian Neville is a Super Saiyan.

I'm gonna love Emma.

She hasn't even debuted in the ring on the main show yet and already seems to be getting over. :oldrazz:

Wel she is very #EMMAtaining  Seriously, I can't wait to see AJ vs Emma. She's the perfect face diva for AJ to play off of.

Digging the Rusev vignette but to me, Rusev needs Paul Heyman as his mouthpiece instead of Lana.

Do you have a yt link? I'd like to see his vignette.

Also, Lobo, MMMM...Pancakes, Triple R, The Chris, Pink Ranger etc...Anyone lurking this thread, What are your thoughts on the Ziggler promo I linked here? That's probably the closest to a pipebomb that we'll get from him so I'd love your thoughts guys.

Honestly, I think it could have been a defining promo for the guy, if it ACTUALLY MADE IT ONTO THE F___CKIN SHOW! How does good promos by underutilized talents end up on Backstage Fallout and the damn WWE APP? Put it on TV where people will see it
