Nice promo from Joe, "If you're the King, you stand before the Emperor".

I did chuckle at the "Vote for Rhyno" chants.

Good match between Nakamura and Balor. It wasn't as good as the Zayn match at Takeover.

Alexander was smooth in the ring.

HoHo Lun looked a bit green.

I could watch Ibushi kick the s*** out of people all day.

Ibushi oversold that codebreaker like he got hit with a grenade to the face.

Metalik has the balance of a cat.

Mauro mentioned Ring Of Honor, Kazuchika Okada and Chris Hero.

Saez was a bit too over the top with the facial expressions but other than that he was fine.

I was focused on the guys that I hadn't seen before. I know what to expect from Ibushi, Alexander, and to a lesser extent Gran Metalik. I don't think guys as unpolished as Ho Ho Lun or Saez belong in this tournament.

On this day,

United States Champion Lex Luger defeated Barry Windham in a Steel Cage match to finally win the WCW Championship at The Great American Bash 1991 from the Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Widowmaker himself. Barry Windham is one of the most underrated guys in the wrestling business especially at his size. When some people describe what they like about how Randy Orton works (smooth in the ring, precise, super athletic, etc.) I think of Barry Windham

The way the WWE did the Cruiserweight Classic is how I think they should do King of the Ring.

Except for TM-61 and Oney Lorcan, many of the big signings in WWE and NXT have kept their names. AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Austin Aires, Shinsuke Nakamura, Johnny Gargano, Tomasso Ciampa, Rich Swann, Karl Anderson all got to keep their names after joining WWE. I'd expect Roderick Strong and whoever they sign from the CWC to keep their names too. Not sure if Tommy End or Big Damo will get name changes though.

Yeah WWE tends to be, inconsistent, about that.

So I just heard Cedric Alexander's favorite wrestler is Dolph Ziggler. How amazing would it be to put Alexander in a tag team with Dolph on NXT or the main roster? Cedric gets mentored by his favorite wrestler and Dolph gets a nice role for himself.

Enzo worked the mic so hard he needs to pay for its overtime.

I refuse to believe Ziggler is anybody's favorite wrestler. He's just so generic whitebread...

My lord, she's like a human care bear. It's next to impossible not to like her. She's like the female Daniel Bryan in terms of crowd popularity, but with some John Cena elements as well (namely the good Cena elements).

I could honestly see her being like Ricky Steamboat or Rey Mysterio. They spent most of their careers as babyfaces because, they were just that good at it.

August 10th 2016 NXT will be one of my more anticipated NXT shows to watch.

I don't get what's so hilarious, a shame though I guess

He got an exemption for testing the usual 6 months out, and still failed. It explains how he recaptured a bit of his old look like the abs though.
